"You have to go Lizzy!"

Megan was practically squealing with excitement.

**

After my encounter with mystery guy, I headed straight to the lunch hall. I found Megan and her 'tribe' as she refers to them with no problem. Although they aren't the most popular group of individuals, there sure was a lot of them. It was hard to remember all their names, but Megan assured me that I'd pick them up as I went along.

I sat opposite Megan and in between Siobhan and Danny. Siobhan had short, pixie-like brown hair and stunning blue eyes, she wore a floral sun dress and brown heeled boots. Danny had dark blonde hair which was styled into a quiff. His green eyes and lop-sided grin was pleasing to the eye.

This guy was cute.

As I watched the three friends gossip and joke about, it soon became obvious that they were very close, much closer than anyone else in the group. However, they didn't alienate me and I could feel myself loosen up and join in with the joking and teasing. I felt comfortable here, like I belonged. And maybe I did.

I was still curious as to who mystery guy was, so I brought up the topic and in no time Megan and Siobhan were squealing and gushing over him. Danny just sat quietly, the occasional annoyed sigh and eye roll made it obvious they fangirled a lot over mystery guy.

That was when Megan said "you have to go Lizzy!"

"But I don't even know this guy! What if he's a freaky pervert?" My eyes widened in despair as the worrying thought crossed my mind. I wanted to go, I desperately wanted to go.

The mysterious and rebellious image created in those first few minutes of meeting mystery guy left me yearning for more. I wanted to know his name, I wanted to know how he could create such tension between him and his audience, I wanted to know him.

As attractive as the rebellious image was, it also disheartened me as I realised we were nothing alike. I was Elizabeth, privately educated until 16, I have high aspirations for university which I work incredibly hard for, and yet I lack knowledge in the 3 things that teenagers are commonly stereotyped for; sex, drugs and the art of rebelling. And of course, mystery guy was, well, he was the stereotype.

"Lizzy, this is the guy that has the majority of the female population drooling over him and the guy that can make a jock whimper in fear just by simply glaring at them!" Megan's stern tone surprised me and immediately pulled me out of my over analysing thoughts.

I stared at her, my brows furrowed as two contrasting answers danced in front of my eyes; 'Ok, I'll go' and 'No, I'm not going'. The answers were replaced by full, pink lips that whispered the words; "you should come along." They were the same words mystery guy had used, the words that caused this commotion of over analysing myself and mystery guy.

"Lizzy, he's a freaking sex god. How can you say no that?!" This time it was Siobhan that shook me from my thoughts.

"Alright, alright I'll go! But you guys have to come with me." No way was I going to the gig alone. As soon as the words left my mouth both girls were squealing and their eyes lit up with excitement as they waffled on about plans for Friday. I managed to catch Megan ask if we could get ready at my house as her Mum was having a dinner party.

I was about to reply when Siobhan smacked her hand to her forehead. "Oh, shit! I can't go. Danny and I are going out for a meal. Sorry guys." Siobhan rolled her bottom lip into a pout when she finished.

"Danny and Siobhan are dating. We're not those sophisticated people that go out for meals, don't worry. " Megan chuckled, she must of seen the look of confusion that plastered my face when Siobhan had told us their plans.
