"Blake? Isn't that a girls name." I said, snickering as I did so. When he told me his name he said it with such pride that I wanted to aggravate him by mocking his name.

"As you can clearly see, I'm not a girl. It works for both genders." The smirk on his face told me that he wasn't fooled by my teasing.

"I'm not quite sure about that, yours moobs seem to suggest otherwise." I retorted, making his jaw tighten.

Seems I've hit a nerve.

"They're called pecs, babe." He narrowed his eyes as he hissed the last word.

"That's what you like to think." Once again I snickered, watching as he cocked an eyebrow, something, I noticed, he did when retorting with a flirtatious comment.

"I see, you want me to prove I'm a guy." His eyes which had formerly been locked with mine, lowered to his crotch area, and then back up to meet mine again, a smirk had formed in that time too.

"All you had to do was ask." He added, a hint of cheekiness glinting in his eyes.

"Sorry, I have no cash on me, I wouldn't be able to pay." I responded, playing along with whatever game he was playing.

"I'm not a prostitute!" His voice rose a decibel or two in surprise which made a few heads turn and look.

"I never said you were, but if you are, it's nothing to be ashamed of. We all have our problems." I said sweetly, while plastering an obvious fake smile on my face and resting my hand on his thigh, making him stiffen under the touch.

"You're annoying, you know that?" He placed my hand back on my own thigh, and let out a frustrated sigh.

"I know." Was all I replied, grinning from ear to ear. Blake's trademark smirk was no longer there, instead it was replaced by a dazzling smile, that made my heart skip a beat.

Blake leaned in closer to my ear, his warm breath tickled my neck as he said; "I've got another set to play. I'll see you around Lizzy." He slipped off his seat and walked towards the stage. A sly look over his shoulder showed me an all too familiar smirk.

I watched as he took his place on the stage, girls with short dresses and incredibly low cut tops surrounded the band, batting their eyelashes to get their attention. I never understood why girls dressed or acted that way to get the male attention, sure I was wearing a sheer low cut top, but I still kept my dignity by wearing a bandeau underneath. The way these girls were dressed it was just sending totally the wrong signals.

Megan's head came into view as she sat in the chair opposite, where Blake had been sitting, she had a wide toothy grin on her face and her eyes were lit up.

Something definitely happened with that guy she was talking to.

"Spill." That was all I needed to say for Megan to starting rambling on about the guy, whose name Megan was practically drooling over, Marcus. If you could state whether a name was hot or not, Marcus would be a not. Blake on the other hand. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a finger clicking remarkably close to my face.

"Are you even listening to me?" Megan had a hand on her hip and her brows were pulled into a frown. I was about to answer but Megan got there before me, delving into another biased conversation of gushing. "Marcus is so clever, Lizzy. He wants to be a doctor, saving lives and helping children, how cute is that?! -He works at the music store in town, he's trying to save some money for university, so his parents don't have to pay for all of it. -Oh, Lizzy he's so handsome." By this point Megan had her elbow on the bar and her hand cupped her chin as she stared at nothing in a daydream.
