*Ring*
I groan as I hear my alarm clock ring.
*Ring*
*Ring*
I lift my hand on the clock and turn it off. I lazily sit up on my bed and take in the morning brightness. About 5 minutes later, I finally stand up and head straight to my bathroom. I strip off all my clothes and get in a nice, cold shower. Yes, I know warm showers are better, but not when you are sore from fighting.
Once I'm done, I get out, pick and wear a black shirt, black hoodie, black ripped jeans, and black shoes. Yeah I know, goth, huh? Haha, no. I have a fight right after school so I will use my shirt and maybe my hoodie, just to cover my face, it depends on how bright it is outside. I'll have some shorts in my car, so before I fight, I get into my black, comfortable shorts. I quickly apply make up to hide my bruises from yesterdays fight and I realize, I'm almost out. Hmm, I'll go get some after my fight today.
I grab my phone and my bag and tumble down the stairs. As I walk into the kitchen I see a note saying...
"Dear Kali,
Your father and I went on a business trip to go see if we can do business with a company in Kansas. Please don't get into any trouble with the principal this week, cause I won't be there to save you.
Love,
Mom and Dad."
Save me my ass!! I can get myself out of my own trouble! Without them. I go outside and get in my car (Audi R8). I turn the engine on, and started my way to school.
As I walk in the doors I see my friend Kelsey.
"Hey Kels!" I shout across the hallway.
"Hi Kali! Oh my gosh! So who are you fighting today? We have a new kid! I saw him walk with fucking Alec though! He's hot! I think he is a body builder. I don't thin—" Kelsey attempts to finish her fast speaking sentence before I cut her off.
"Whoa! Calm down! You're talking to too fast. Now, please, go on, slowly!" I interrupt Kelsey.
She takes a deep breath before she rants to me again, "Ok, we have a new kid. I didn't catch his name, but he was hanging out with that sickening Alec. Anyways, who do you fight tod—" I didn't let her finish, again. Kelsey was the only person who knew about me fighting. I didn't want anyone to know, not even my parents, but eventually Kelsey found out because she kept seeing bruises on my face. I had to tell her because she threatened to scream I was abused by my parents.
"Shut up! Not here, Kelsey!" I snap to her in a low tone while giving her a hard, menacing death glare.
"Sorry!" She squeaks.
I walk past her heading towards my locker. She pulls my arm so hard, my arm can literally come out of my socket if she pulls like a baby.
"OH MY GOD! Kelsey! That hurt!" I scream out loud getting looks from people.
"What!?" Kelsey yells at the kids staring at us.
"Why'd you do that? Can I just go to my locker without getting my arms pulled off? You know, I need them, to fight and to write." Wow, that rhymed, I didn't mean for it to.
"Look, that's him!" Kelsey says in a hushed tone to me. I turn my head in annoyance and see annoying Alec and next to some guy who's wearing a hoodie, just like mine. Eh. From the back, he looks ok, he looks buff don't get me wrong, but he isn't that guy I should even look at. Ok, today is A day! I favorite day! No sarcasm.
