That's so not fair!
"Who are you?" The guy asks somewhat disgusted.
"Ivy, what about you?" I ask.
"Goliath." He answers me.
"Well, that's not fair. You're like a freaking body builder. I'm a girl, are you really going to hit a girl?" I ask him smirking thinking he'll say no.
"Yeah. I am going to kill you. Wreck you. Beat you so bad, you just might bleed to death...unless you want to forfeit." He says.
"No, that's not like me. Either I win, or I lose trying." I say and walk off.
Holy shit that's not fair! I walk back out and look for Kelsey. As I am walking, I am shoved to the ground.
"Ugh, watch where you're going motherfucker!" I scream at some kid who's with his friend.
"Sorry!" He screams.
Wait. No! I know what voice. Oh shit it's Alec! Oh no, just leave and look for Kelsey. Kelsey. Kelsey. Where are you? I finally find her and drag her to the other side of the street.
"Kelsey, I'm fighting a guy!" I scream out.
"What!?" Kelsey screams out louder than me.
"Yeah! A guy who looks like a body builder!" I tell her.
"That's not fair! No offense, but you're going to get beat. Go talk to Jacob about a forfeit!" Kelsey tries to order me.
"I can't Kelsey!" I tell her.
"You have to! It's a guy!" She screams.
"I can't I need the money!" I tell her. She knows that I fight for my parents and Abby, but she doesn't know about the money.
"Your parents are rich! You don't need the money!" She screams at me trying to make a point.
"I know, but they don't let me donate their money." I say.
"Donate? Donate to what?" Kelsey asks.
"To kids who have cancer! I fight for my parents and Abby, and donate the money to charity or kids who have cancer. Since it's so much money, I pay for their treatments." I say truthfully hoping she will let me fight him.
"Fine. But, if you can't take it, forfeit!" Kelsey orders me.
"Okay." I say.
Me and Kelsey split and return to our old spots.
10 minutes until the fight starts, and I don't think I can do this, but I have to. I don't need the money. They do. Do it for them, Kali. You've got this Kali Black. You've got this, and if you lose, you, mom and dad, Abby, and those kids will know you lost trying.
"Welcome audience!" The man in charge says. His name is Jacob. "Today, we have an uneven fight. Ivy, a strong girl who's been defeated only twice, but by men... and Goliath, a man never beaten before. Since it's uneven, Ivy gets to have 20 seconds to be down, while Goliath, only ten!" Jacob confirms.
That doesn't help that much!
"Please welcome, Goliath!" He screams through the microphone. As he says Goliath's name, I hear everybody cheer for him. Or what at least sounds like everyone.
"Next, we have Ivy!" He screams even louder. I walk out into the center of the huge area that's filled. I hear the same amount of people scream for me.
"Are you ready, Goliath?" Jacob asks my opponent.
"Fuck yeah!" Goliath screams.
"And you, Miss Ivy, are you ready?" I just simply nod not wanting to lose my energy by talking.
