{Marshall's POV}
I've been living at Simone and Bet's place for awhile, now. I feel like they're the parents I've never had. I feel like they think I'm the son they've never had. They call me honey, son, Mar-Mar, Marshy, and Lee. Honestly, I love it. I love them.
{Simone's POV}
I woke up to Mar-Mar tugging on my arm.
"What is it, honey?" I asked, still tired.
"I'm hungry." I smiled. I took hold of his hand and walked him to the kitchen. Lately, I've been teaching him to not drink blood, but to suck the color red. I didn't like him sucking blood. And I told him and explained to him why. I pulled out a bowl and 4 strawberries out of the fridge.
"Here you go, Marshy. Now go play. I have to do some experiments." I said. He frowned.
"But why can't I be with you?" He whined.
"I don't want you getting hurt." I said, looking at his puppy eyes.
"Please!!!" He said he gave me the cutest puppy face. He put his chin down, lowered his eyebrows, puckered his lips, and looked up at me with sorrowful eyes. Ugh! I can't compete with that!
"Fiiine" I said, I picked him up. "But you have to promise not to fool around." I said. He nodded, happily.
I went to my lab room. And looked at my projects.
"Ugh!!! Boring! When will this be over?!" He moaned.
"Hey! That's not nice! And what do you do when you hurt someone's feelings?" I scolded.
"I'm sorry." I nodded. I was proud of Marshall. I have raised him to be a mannered young boy. Good, I didn't want him to be a brat. Yuck.
"You know what? Fine! Lets go adventuring!" I said pushing my projects away.
"Yay! You're the best, Simone!" I smiled. We adventured out into the woods. I was running, and he was floating. Although, I wasn't the youngest, I still wanted Marshall to have a fun and loving... Mother? Ya, I guess. I'm his mother. That made me smile. Although we had him for a short time, I loved him.
"Hey, Simone?" He asked.
"Yes, Marshy?" I said.
"Shouldn't have we told Bet about this? What if he wakes up and sees we're gone?" He asked, worried.
"Don't worry. He'll know. Plus, you'll be with me. He knows we're safe." He lightened.
"Okay!" We went on, and stopped at a cave. "Whoa, Simone! We should see what's inside!" I smiled.
"Okay. Me first." I got a torch from my backpack and lit it. "Shh." He nodded and followed me. We were wandering through. When all of a sudden, ROARRRR! "RUN, MARSHALL. RUN!!!" He obeyed and we were running and then a huge scaly hand picked me up. Marshall turned back.
"Simone!" He screamed.
"Don't worry! Just go! GO, MARSHALL!" He looked saddened, and then his face tightened.
"LET GO, OF HER!!!" He then turned into a huge bat. Oh my glob. The, what appeared to be, dragon let go of me. And Marshall started fighting it. Then the dragon, scraped at his face.
"No, Marshall!" I ran over and and threw my sleep potion at the dragon. It immediately collapsed. And so did Marshall, he turned into his regular little boy form.
"Marshall!" I ran over and grabbed him. His wound on his face healed like normal, but he wouldn't wake up. When all of a sudden, I saw his chest. It was scratched up, really bad. I couldn't take it. I didn't want to lose him. I then, from exhaustion, passed out.

{Simone's POV}
I woke up in a cage, with Marshall snuggled up right next to me.
"Marshall, Mar-Mar wake up." I whispered to Marshall. He opened his eyes.
"Huh? What happened. Where are we?" He asked rubbing his eyes.
"We went adventuring into a cave. And you were defeating a dragon and then you passed out. And truth be told, I don't know where we are." I said trying to whisper.
"Oh" He said with a worried expression.
"Hehe, foolish ones. I can hear you. I can see you.I can smell you. And in a moment, I will taste you." A very low and mysterious voice said.
"Well, you better get out, you big baby! Show yourself!" Marshall screamed. I shushed him.
"Foolish child. I will eat you, first." The voice said.
"Don't you touch him!" I yelled, getting in a defensive posture.
"You can't defeat me. You are a mere human." The voice laughed.
"Yes she can! And if she doesn't, I will! I can take you down. I'm a fighter!" Marshall yelled.
"Oh, I've heard. You're the brat that knocked out my pet dragon." He said.
"Y-your pet?! You mean, you're stronger than the dragon?" I asked.
I heard the voice laugh.
"Now enough with the chit-chat. Time for my supper." Then, out of the darkness came a huge tiger-lion-bear. It had the head of a tiger, the mane of a male lion, and the body of a bear.
Me and Marshall scrambled to the back of the cage.
"One more question." He said.
"And what is that?" I asked.
"Do you believe in heaven?"
