{Kroh's POV}
I opened my eyes to see rocks. Just. Rocks. I got up and stretched. I looked around and saw my dads house. The one and only Marshall Lee, also known as the worst parent in the world. I decided to fly around a bit, check out "The Land of Aaa". I flew out of the cave with a hooded sweatshirt, so the sun couldn't hurt me. I flew down to a forest. I got down to the ground, and took off the hood knowing the trees would protect me from the sun. I started walking through the forest. I've got to admit, this forest was pretty damn cool.
"What are you doing here?" A rather creepy voice said. My head snapped back and my eyes widened. It was a tall figure, covered with a black cloak. I couldn't see it's face.
"I guess just looking around." I said.
"Well... GET OUT!" The voice said, but his voice cracked. He coughed a little. I smiled.
"You're not as creepy as you think, y'know." I said, smirking. The tallish figure sighed and took off his hood. It revealed a teenage boys face.
"Whatever. Just, can you leave?" He asked.
"Not until you tell me why you're alone in this forest, creeping around like that." I said, raising an eyebrow.
"It's what I do to survive. Now get out of here. And don't you tell anybody about this!" He said, leaving. What? Wait... Wait! I ran after him, and grabbed his shoulder.
"Wait up!" I said.
"The hell do you want?" He snapped. He faced me, while stopping. I stood in shock at this boy. How dare he yell at me! I slapped him across the face, hard. He fell to the ground from the strength of the slap.
"Don't you DARE snap at me!" I yelled. He just sat there shocked. I smirked. He just sighed.
"What do you want from me?" He asked.
"I've never been to the land of Aaa, before. I was just wondering if you could show me around." I said, briefly. He lowered his eyebrows in confusion. He then got up from the ground.
"How about no." He said, walking away. I ran after him.
"Wait, why not?" I asked, catching up to him. He avoided eye contact, keeping a steady pace. But I still stayed at his same speed.
"Because I said so." He said, flatly.
"What do I have to give you to do it?" I asked, stopping. He kept walking, but then stopped.
"A family." He said, sternly. Then kept walking. My heart dropped a little. I inhaled and exhaled. I caught up to him.
"I'm sorry... I can't give that to you." I said. He looked sad, but quickly turned it to anger.
"You think I don't already know that?!" He yelled, stopping and looking me in the eyes. He sighed and kept walking.
"I could give you money. I could give you a house! I could give you food!" I said, trying to convince him.
"Forget it." He spat. And he kept walking. I sighed.
"Fine. I'll ask someone else." I said, giving up with him. I heard him sigh, but I just kept walking away. I took step after step. I heard a noise in the bushes. What the- Suddenly, a large creature was on top of me. It was growling and it's saliva was pouring out it's mouth. A wave of reality washed over me. This must be it. The End of Kroh.
"Ay! Get over here, ya big doofus!" A voice yelled. I and the large animal looked over to see the boy from earlier. I smiled. The animal got off me and started growling at the boy.
"Thank you" I mouthed to the guy.
"Run!" He yelled. This alarmed the animal, and it charged towards the boy. Out of instinct, I flew to the animal and kicked it in the nose. It fell over. But it wouldn't stay that way. Then, the boy came from behind me, and stuck a spear into the chest of the animal. The animal's struggling came to a stop. I sighed out of pure relief.
"Y'know," I said to the boy, "We make a pretty good team." I punched him in the shoulder. He smiled, making me smile.
"I guess... Oh, and next time, try NOT to get attacked by a huge animal in the middle of a forest." He laughed. I chuckled.
"So, about that offer." I said.
"Whatever." He sighed.
"You mean..." I said excitedly.
"Yes, I'll give you the dumb tour." He said. I smiled, widely. I then hugged him, tightly. This took him by surprise. He then sighed and lightly hugged me back.
"Oh, by the way, I never got your name." I said, pulling away from the hug.
"It's Mason." He said.
"Cool! My name's Kroh." I said. He smiled. I don't exactly know why. But I smiled back.
"So... The tour." He said. Right! I awkwardly pulled away from the hug. He's actually pretty... Cute. He had brown hair, and green eyes. He had messy long hair that was scattered all over his head, and even into his face, some. He was maybe 5'9ish. About three inches taller than me.
"So... Let's go." I said. He nodded.
[TIME LAPSE]
Oh my gosh! That was probably the most fun I've ever had. Mason dropped me off and headed back to the forest. I smiled. Mason's actually really fun to be around. Sure, he's kind of jerky and shy at first. But he actually has a pretty witty and funny personality. I actually really like him...
