Writing Skills class was finished. Throughout the whole class, Ms. Crevan had given you an empty notebook for you to take notes on. You took a couple of notes, most of them filled with information about the job of a Grim Reaper/Shinigami. It was pretty much boring. The class was dismissed 30 minutes earlier, and when Ms. Crevan opened the door, you could've sworn you saw Undertaker in front of the door, smiling at his sister. Ms. Crevan closed the door and went with Undertaker, and you could hear their footsteps fading away.

You and Saffy both went out of the classroom and went downstairs to the lobby. You sat down with Saffron in one of the white couches, and you both chatted about random things. A couple of times you saw some males passing by minding their own business, a few were running here and there, others were chatting their time away. The blonde then checked her watch, "Oh my, it's 1:30PM." She stood up. "Well, I guess this is time for me to go. Take care [Y/N]!" She ran and waved to you, and you waved back.

You sighed, and stood up to walk around the lobby. You went to the window that had the view of the delicate red garden, and you stared off into the distance, admiring the red flowers in your head. After a matter of minutes, you saw a familiar redhead in the garden. He walked and looked at the red roses, and plucked one out. Somehow, you could see that the rose's thorns managed to prick his fingers, but he didn't seem to notice that it was bleeding. He then looked at his left hand that was bleeding inside his black glove, and took out scissors to cut off the thorns. It was a little obvious that he sighed looking at his bleeding finger, and he inserted the rose inside his jacket with his unharmed hand.

He was about to walk away from the garden, until he glanced to your direction. That's when he saw you and froze. He stared at you and you stared at him back, and flashed him a small smile. He had a faint blush on his cheeks that was barely noticeable as he looked away. You watched him going back to the building. If you had a tail, it would be wagging. 'Wait.. Why am I happy?'  Your emotions were formed into confusion after you realized that you felt happy. Was it because of Grell? Or was it something else?

The redhead opened the entrance of the lobby and walked to you. You glanced at him as he walked towards you. You suddenly felt a wave of nervousness, and felt your delicate cheeks turn bright red. Lightly shaking your head, you looked away trying to make your blush less visible. His footsteps were closer and slightly louder as he was walking towards you.

"Good afternoon [Y/N]~" You heard him greet. He was standing next to you and you stared at him.

"Hello Grell." You smiled, and sighed. "How've you been?"

"Hm. Pretty well actually, what about you [Y/N]?" He had his hands in his jacket's pockets, and looked out the window with a calm expression. "How's the first day for you?"

"Hm, let me think," You paused. "I'll just say that it's rather interesting for Practical Skills class earlier." You unintentionally smirked, thinking of the kicking scene earlier. "And Writing class was.. Okay, I guess." You returned to your usual smile. "What about yours?" You turned to him, only to find him still staring out the window smiling. The sunlight made his porcelain-like skin glow, making his facial features look more attractive. You blushed as you saw how attractive he looked, and he turned his head and his eyes met your gaze.

"The same as it has been ever since I was here." He gently smiled. You felt butterflies flying in your stomach as he smiled. 'What is this feeling?!'  Your feelings toward him were unclear, and you highly doubt that you had a crush on him, since you only just met. But at the same time, having a crush on someone whom you first met is possible. Right..?

"I see." You replied, smiling a bit. "How long have you been here?" You looked at him curiously.

"About a month, I guess?" He scratched the back of his neck. "Well, it feels like I've been here since forever." He sighed, and he stretched both of his hands behind his neck, and smiled as he looked out the window again. You saw him doing that a couple of times today, and assumed that it was just a habit of his. Although, it somehow made him more.. Attractive. You blushed harder as you stared at him. Your heart was pounding fast. Why?

You were confused. 'Why does he make me feel so.. nervous and shy?'

He then noticed that you were blushing, and he just stared at you. He had a hint of confusion and he tilted his head. "[Y/N], are you alright?" He looked at you concerned. You slightly gasped and shook your head hysterically.

"A-ah! N-no, I'm fine." You awkwardly laughed. Trying to cool down as your blush faded away. The redhead took a few steps closer to you as he shoved both of his hands in his jacket pockets. Your heart beat faster as he stepped closer. He looked at you, and smiled. The butterflies in your stomach fluttered again, and you didn't realize that you were blushing again. He stretched out his right hand, and gently patted your head, ruffling through your [H/C] hair. You closed your eye as he played your hair on the right side. You felt a bit more relaxed as he did that. It was as if being comforted by a parent.

Grell chuckled at seeing you. "You're so adorable, [Y/N]." He murmured, loud enough for you to hear. You blushed harder at his soft voice, your whole body felt hot. He let your hair down again, and took out the rose he picked earlier out of his jacket with his right hand. "Here, have this." He held the rose in front of you, and you nearly jumped. He smiled at you. "The beautiful rose reminded me of you, so I had to pick it for you." You merely blushed.

"Ah. T-thank you. Grell." You took the rose from him and held it in front of your nose, smelling it. "It smells nice." You muttered.

"Of course it does." He smirked. "Not to mention it smells like me." He softly said to himself, barely audible to you. You couldn't exactly hear him, but you could make out some words. 'Like me..?'  You thought.

"Anyway, would you like to go back to the dorm [Y/N]?" His tone was polite and gentle. You nodded, and held the rose tightly to your right hand. He smiled and led you to the dorm, and you followed. Along the way, the two of you chatted away about your interests and favorite things.
