"I will announce your partners after I have finished explaining the task for you trainees today." Was the first thing that Ms. Crevan said in the morning. The whole class widened their eyes, but nonetheless they listened attentively.

Instead of having a whisper-complaining Grell today, he seemed used to it, but still a little annoyed. "Tch."

"I deeply apologize for not informing you trainees about this test 2 weeks before. But nonetheless, I will explain the test.. Or rather, assignment you all will do for today." She pushed her glasses up, and started explaining the assignment as she was holding onto an envelope of files.

"Recently, there has been a lot of deaths occurring in London lately. Most of the souls trainees are supposed to collect today are humans who had received a disease called Malaria. But a few souls will not die because of the disease. We will all be separated into different areas, so let me give you a warning when reaping today's souls." She sent a threatening glare that seemed to make Grell, Lewis, and Felix jump. But seeing Grell jump a little actually amused you a little.

"Make sure you do NOT interact with them before death. For we work under the shadows. If you do, there'll be more trouble." Her serious gaze was threatening as ever. "Alright, I'll announce your partners and the amount of souls you trainees are supposed to collect for today." She took out the files from the envelope.

"Ms. Baxton and Ms. [L/N]," Ah, Saffy was your partner today. Both you and Saffron nodded when your names were called. "You will collect 4 souls today." She stretched four files for you, and you went up to her and took it. "Each of them are in different places, so make sure you be on time when collecting them, and do not lose track of them." You nodded as you turned to walk back to Saffy.

"Mr. Sutcliff and Mr. Ainsworth." You could hear Grell groan, because you knew that Lewis was a slacker when Grell was around. You felt kind of bad for the redhead. "You two will collect 3 souls today. Hopefully, 2 of them are in the same place, while the last one is in a different place. Be on time and do not lose track of them." She handed Grell the files, and the irritated redhead slouched his way back, next to Mr. Lew-lew. (I had to because Grell calls him that) When he saw Lewis stare at him, he was completely ready to hit Lewis right in the face. But he didn't do it because he knew perfectly well that the blonde male will start bleating non-stop, and he hated the blonde's impeccable whining. No actually, he hated hearing the blonde's voice.

"Mr. Aston and Mr. Spears." You noticed William's menacing glare at Felix, maybe because he also knew that the blue-haired male was also a slacker like Lewis. The blue-haired male shivered. "You will also collect 3 souls today. All 3 souls will be near each other, so you don't have to worry about losing track of each one." She handed the tall black-haired student the last files. Will took it and bowed respectfully to the silver-haired teacher.

She cleared her throat and spoke. "Get your death scythes and stamps, and I will be observing each of you and your partners one by one. Depending on teamwork, patience, and skill. Dismissed." And with that, you all went to the Equipments department for your Death Scythes and stamps.

You actually felt a little disappointed that Grell wasn't partnered with you. Aside from him being your best friend, you wanted him to be with you again just like in the last assignment (The last assignment was the first test. Also Note: I'll be using the term 'Assignment' rather than test since I think it's more formal, well at least that's what I think).

"Saffy, who's the first soul?" You asked, getting you and Saffy your Death Scythes. You threw her Death Scythe for her to catch.

"Alfred Rupert." She spoke as she held the first file and caught the Death Scythe. "Date of Birth, April 16, 1764. Date of Death, January 18, 1799, 9:00AM." She read on.
