Someone knocked on the door.

"Coming!! I shouted.

I opened the door and guess who it was!

Maya's POV:

"Howdy, ma'am!" He greeted me.

It was the one and only Lucas Friar.

"Lucas!!!" I screamed out.

"How's your dorm?" I asked.

"I didn't get a dorm. I rented an apartment near by, but I have no furniture yet. So can I crash here?"

"Of course!"

"Thanks I owe you."

"Oh, I know exactly how your gonna pay me back."

"Oh no, what is it?"

"Come to a party with me!"

I had been invited to a party by a senior. I was really surprised since I'm a freshman.

"Y-you mean a-as your d-date?" He asked.

"What? No! Just come to the party with me, as friends."

"Oh, ok sorry about that."

"It's fine, but don't ever Think that again."

"Done!"

During the summer Lucas and I became really good friends. We really connected. It's kinda weird, I never thought that be and Lucas would be this close.

Riley stepped out of the kitchen and nearly dropped dead when she saw Lucas.

"Lucas!! How was your summer? Did you and Maya hang out a lot?" She asked.

"My summer was great, and yea! How was your summer? How was Paris?"

"It was amazing, really beautiful. Did Maya tell you about th party tonight?"

"Yea, and I'm going with you!"he said excitedly.

"Oh Riley,Lucas is going to be staying v with us for a while!"
I said.

"Yyyyyyyaaaaaaaayyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed out, while Lucas and I laughed our butts off.

Riley's POV:

"Hey Maya don't we need to go grocery shopping so we can actually survive at college?" I asked.

"Oh yea, let me just get ready."

Third person POV:

Maya went into her bedroom and took some clothes out of the dresser. She had on black ripped jeans, black heels, and a flower print crop top that said #selfie on it.

Riley had on a pink long sleeve turtle neck with a Jean vest on top, pink flats, and Jean shorts.

Lucas had on a white tank top, black jeans, blue jacket, and black combat boots.

Lucas's POV:

When Maya came out of her bedroom, she was wearing black ripped jeans, a crop top and some heels. She looked absolutely gorgeous! I think I was starring at her because she looked at me and said

"HuckleBerry?? You ok over there?"

"Huh.. oh! Yea, I'm fine."

"Anyway.. Riley and I are going grocery shopping. So make yourself at home."she said.

"Ok, I will!"

Riley's POV:

On the car ride to the grocery store I was thinking about how weird Lucas was acting. It was like he. .. like...... Oh my god! I know why he was acting like that!

Once we were at the grocery store Maya and I started talking.

"Hey Maya, how do you feel about Lucas?" I asked.

"What do u mean, how do I feel about Lucas?" She responded with a question.

"Like do u like like him, as in more than a friend?"

"Well I mean he's a really good guy, and he's cute, funny, and generous....... but I don't know exactly how I feel about him."

"Well what would you say if he asked you out right now at this very moment?"

"I would say yes."

"Then that's how you feel about him."
