"Mmmmmm, I don't think they're THAT bad," I hum. "Help me make a salad."
She huffs and takes the head of lettuce from my hands, throws it into a bowl with a tomato and a carrot.
"There."
"That i-"
"Shut it," she huffs. Goodness, someone is awfully cranky today. She takes the bowl and marches it upstairs with me close behind her. We walk her room and find no one, and no bags.
"Where did the little whores go?" Ashley mutters to herself. Woah woah. Ashley has unleashed her female dog side. Watch out.
"Maybe they got lost?" I suggest. At that moment, Dad and Elizabeth come into the door and smile.
"Lizzy and I were planning to walk around town, would you two mind watching Connie and Amira?" Father requests while holding the seemingly kind woman.
"Yeah, of course," I smile, slapping a hand over Ashley's face before she can reject. Elizabeth smiles sweetly and gives us a small thank you as they leave, shutting the door behind them.
"Our house isn't that big!" Ashley yells as soon as we hear the front door shut. I sigh and we search for them, checking Mum's room, the guest bedroom, the bathroom, and finally the base of my room. We hear talking upstairs in my actual room and Ashley walks up the stairs.
"Oh my god he's so hot," one of the twins mumbles as we enter the door at the top of the stairs. I slowly crack it open and find the two girls staring out of the window while eating cookies. My girl scout cookies. Oh it's so on you little raccoons. Eating my cookies is something I won't tolerate. I paid ten dollars for those.
"Is he taking his shirt off? Oh my god I so call him," the other twin comments.
"They're talking about Aaron," Ashley whispers since she's the one who was watching while I was imagining the cookies stabbing the two girls. . I shove open the door and glare at the two girls as they jump. Aaron must have his window open or something since he turned to face my window and cover himself up with his arm with a horrified look on his face. He's doing that thing that a girl would do if they were to be caught in the middle of changing in the movie. A hand covering the crotch and another across the chest. Except Aaron is a guy. And he's at least wearing jeans. He's also in a cast. I'm surprised I didn't burst out laughing since he had fallen over in the process.
"Excuse you," Amira speak, looking at me in distaste. Ignoring her, I march over to the one part of the window that actually opens and fling it open.
"Aaron!" I call loudly. He pulls on his shirt and leans out of his already open window.
"Why do you have two children in your room? Are you allowing people to see me about to work out? Tsk tsk, Cammy. You are a pervert," he grins boyishly.
"You're wearing a cast, you can't do crap," I mumble, glaring at him momentarily. Before he can speak again, I kiss his cheek swiftly and turn a bright red.
"Well someone is in a teasing mo-"
"Someone's the jealous type," Ashley snickers as I slam the window shut before Aaron can comment on my surprise display of affection.
"Bitch! I called him!" Amira snaps at me, her brown eyes digging into my soul.
"Little problem with that, skank. He's her boyfriend," Ashley tuts, coming up next to me and wrapping an arm around my shoulders in pride. God damnnit. Why did I do that? He will never let it go. Never.
"We'll see," Connie mumbles, taking another thin mint. NO, MY COOKIES.
"Can you not eat the cookies I bought for myself?" I hiss. I'm not in a good mood after that display. I can feel Aaron laughing at me, even though he is no longer in his room.
"What was that, slut?" Connie innocently asks, popping another cookie into her mouth. A head of lettuce collides with the head of the child. HOLY CRAP ASHLEY WHAT DID YOU DO.
"IT'S ON BITCHES. YOU DO NOT STEAL A WOMAN'S FUCKING COOKIES," Ashley screeches as she prepares to throw a carrot.
"What's going on here, ladies?" Aaron dabbles as he comes upstairs. When did he get in? How did he get in?
"Your girlfriend freaked out out of nowhere and hit me in the head with a chunk of lettuce," Connie pouts as she rubs her head.
"I did no such th-"
"Yes you did! I saw it!" Amira testifies before I can deny the lie Connie spewed. I'm pissed. Activate swearing wild CamCam.
"Like hell she did you fucking shit bags!" Ashley growls lowly, holding the carrot that's in her hands as if she was holding a knife and preparing to stab someone.
"Did you really do that, Cameron?" Aaron asks as he looks me dead in the eye. Is he second guessing Ashley and I? Does he actually f-ing think I would be the one to throw a head of lettuce when I don't even have the bowl. Trust me, I would've gone for the tomato first.
"I should've," I hiss angrily at him before spinning back around to face the devil twins. "You two get the fuck out of my room."
"But we're sharing this room for the time being," Amira speaks once again. Do you wanna go? I will go. I've prepared for this my entire life. Time to release my violent thoughts.
"You two are staying downstairs in Ashley's room and if you want to stay here at all I wouldn't speak," I warn lowly, cracking my knuckles for affect. They both get up and begin to scramble out before I tightly grip onto Connie's arm.
"Leave the fucking cookies, little bitch," I speak through my teeth, staring right at her in hatred. She drops the crushed box and gets out of my grip before following Amira out.
"Listen-"
"You leave to," I glare at Aaron. How the hell did he make it up the stairs in one piece with his cast?
"Cam-"
"No no. You didn't believe me. I am very done with you. Leave," I command. He mutters to himself before hobbling down the stairs.
"You okay Cammy?" Ashley questions warily, putting down the carrot and the bowl.
"I'm fine. Are my cookies, though?" I reply with a smile, picking up the box. Ashley smiles and Johnny creeps into the room.
"So those two are conniving bitches? I knew it," he smiles brightly.
"That's why you're our friend," Ashley comments, creating a group hug. We hear the door open downstairs and a bit of shuffling before two familiar voice call out in unison.
"Cameron Marie Reed! Get your butt down here!"
