Expecting at sixteen

"Oh my god this can't be happening", I whispered to myself. "I'm sixteen I can't!!".

I stared at the pregnancy test in my hands and I broke down in tears. I'm only sixteen!!! I'm still a kid!!! So many thoughts and questions flooded my brain. I can't raise a baby especially seeing as my living situation isn't great.

"Hannah get down here now!!!!", my stepdad Brandon yelled.

I sighed and walked downstairs. I hope he had a good day or the baby and I could be in danger.

"Yes sir", I said.

"My buddies are coming over so get in that kitchen and make us food", he demanded.

I did as I was told and walked into the kitchen. I hate when his friends come over. They always try to mess with me. I wish I could live with Taylor. I know I can't be a mom. I know what I have to do. {btw I do not support this but it's for the story}. Abortion. I decided to make them wings and fries. I heard my stepdads buddies come bursting through the door.

"Aye man where's that fine little thang at?", one of them said.

"Eh she's in the kitchen", he told them.

"Hey baby", one of them said and he's drunk already.

"Brandon mind if I take her for a minute?", another one said.

"You can have the hoe", Brandon shouted.

"Look I-

"Hey I'm trying to get you out of here", he whispered.

I was confused but then I realized what he meant.

"Brandon I'm taking her to the car", he said.

Brandon nodded and I walked outside.

"I'm an undercover cop and all of them will be arrested", he said smiling.

"Thank you so much", I said in tears.

Dang being pregnant makes you emotional.

"Honey don't thank me it's my job".

"It's a good thing you took out of there especially because I'm pregnant",I said quietly.

"Look of you need anything here's my number or if you need a place to stay", he said handing me his business card.

"Thank you and what's your name?", I asked.

"Eric Finn", he told me.

"Eric I really appreciate this".

"No problem kiddo and we are here", Eric said as he pulled up to Taylor's house.

I thanked Eric once more and walked in to Taylor's house. I have to tell him I'm pregnant and if he and I can come to some sort of compromise then I'll keep the baby.

"Hey baby", he said hugging me then kissing me.

" I have some interesting news", I said sitting on his bed.

"Oh me too!!", he said excitedly.

"You first", I said.

"Well the guys and I got invited to this tour called magcon and we get to go all around and meet fans", he said.

I haven't seen Taylor smile this big in ages. I didn't want him to go but he's happy and who am I too take away his happiness and ruin it.?

"Babe that's amazing I'm so proud", I said hugging him.

"I know I'll be gone for awhile but I promise I'll keep in touch", he said. "So what was your news?".

"Oh uh well......this guy came over to Brandon's house and got me out of there so I don't have to live with him anymore", I said smiling.

"Oh my god that's awesome", he replied.

I decided not to tell him I was pregnant because if I would have told him then he would've had to give up Magcon and I'm not ruining his life. Looks like abortion is my last option. I decided to take Eric up on his offer and stay with him for awhile. Eric's wife is a therapist so maybe I can get advice from her.
*****At Eric's*****
"Thanks for letting me stay here until I can get on my feet and figure out my game plan", I said walking in his home.

Eric's house was much nicer than the trailer I lived in. It had a staircase, marble floors, high ceilings and it had modern furniture.

"Oh I love your home", I told him as I admired it.

"Thank you my wife did the decorating I just wanted to pick out the microwave and tv package", he said chuckling.

I laughed.

"Eric who are you talking too?", a lady asked as she walked in.

She was pretty. She had brown hair, green eyes and was sort of skinny.

"Oh this is my wife Gina and Gina this is the young lady I was telling you about", Eric said.

"Hi it's nice to meet you sweetie", Gina said smiling then hugging me.

"It's nice to meet you too and I'm Hannah", I said.

It felt like I belonged with Eric and Gina but I wasn't gonna overstay my welcome.

"Gina Eric told me that you were a therapist and I was wondering if we could talk?", I asked.

"Oh honey of course sit down", she said.

I took a seat on the couch and poured my feelings out to her. I felt safe and wanted.

"So should I do it?", I asked.

"Look I think once you see the baby your mind will change but it's your call", Gina said. "Eric and I will support your decision".

With that, I fell asleep with my life a mess.......
