Chapter 5

emily pov

i don't like my smoke time being interrupted, i don't like how i am not allowed to drink beers after school and i don't like getting time taken out of my day to hang around some annoying blonde chick!

"emily. your turn." caleb said and i rolled my eyes and hit the ball, getting a hole in one.

"can we leave yet?"

"how did you do that? that's your 7th hole in one!" alison squealed and i sighed.

"accuracy. it's a sport honey, not rocket science." i said and pulled a cigarette out of my pocket and lit it.

"emily. can you put that out? please?" caleb asked, pointing to alison.

i groaned, "no. i'm not gonna be the perfect sister for your girlfriend that you want to think you are perfect and have no flaws but you do caleb. you drink with me after school! and now we end that tradition because she is hanging around more?! i can't take it anymore!"

i marched away and threw the cigarette in the ash tray and when i got inside i got a water and chugged it.

"emily."

i grunted, "why are you always near me when i don't want to see you?"

"cause i care."

"bullshit. stop alison just fucking stop!" i said and went into the bathroom.

and of course, she followed.

"STOP FOLLOWING ME! in case you haven't gotten the message yet, i don't want to talk to you alison! i don't care about you!" i screamed at her and i had more but she cut me off...by kissing me.

right on the lips.

i felt all kinds of sparks and flutters.

something i haven't felt in a really long time.

she pulled away and so did i.

i stared into her blue eyes, totally speechless.

she looked so confused.

then my brain went back to reality.

caleb.

i stared at alison, "don't ever do that again." i hissed at her and left the bathroom.

alison pov

when i left the bathroom i was mortified.

that kiss felt amazing.

she has the most amazing lips.

and the sparks i felt were so surreal.

"hey. where did you go off to?" caleb said, walking over and putting his arm over my shoulders.

i smiled, "bathroom. that's all."

"okay. we should go though. i'm sorry. emily has anger issues sometimes."

i nodded, "it's fine. she just needs to cool down."

he kissed me and i felt sparks for him too.

god what is happening to me?

"thank you for understanding."

he walked away but i grabbed his hand, "and caleb? you don't have to change for me. i like you just the way you are handsome. and emily too. she can smoke or drink around me. i don't want to make her hate me for having you force her to change." i said and rubbed my boyfriend's arm.

he sighed and nodded, grinning, "god i am so glad you said that. thank you. she is so damn stubborn."

i laughed and nodded as we walked to the car and got in.
