Chapter 21

charlotte pov

hanna wanted to celebrate the new found peace within the love triangle so we all went to the rear window brew. it's some type of coffee house.

"so if emily boxes, then you?" hanna said.

"am her manager pretty much."

"uh huh. so in other words...you're weaker?" hanna said and i felt a pang in my chest. she's flirting with him...

"yes."

"no." emily and caleb spoke at the same time.

i giggled and so did alison.

"okay then. arm wrestle. right here. right now." hanna said.

i smirked, he is gonna lose to emily.

"works for me. ready to lose little brother?"

"i think the question is are you ready to lose?"

they got ready and alison said, "ready, set, go!"

emily slammed his arm down and caleb yelped and fell out of his chair.

we all laughed at him and when he got up and sat down again he huffed, "okay she's stronger. whatever. she boxes."

"i bet i'm stronger than you." i challenged.

alison shot her eyes to me widely.

i didn't look at her though.

caleb chuckled, "you sure you want to?"

"why not? i don't mind winning."

hanna made an "oooh." sound and i looked up at her and grinned.

she smirked and mouthed, "beat his ass."

i nodded and we got ready.

"ready, set, go!"

i pushed down and focused on pushing harder and i heard caleb working up a sweat.

"shit." he muttered.

i smirked and hanna cheered, "go cece!"

i slammed his hand down and he grunted, "damn it!"

i laughed and hanna hugged me, "i knew you'd beat him!" she kissed my cheek and i instantly heated up.

the place where she kissed me now burned but i enjoyed it.

alison must have noticed because her and emily giggled.

i glared at the two of them and to my disappointment, when i turned back around, she was gone. 

and by gone i mean sitting next to caleb.

i thought she said he was using her to get back at my sister?

alison pov

when i was sitting next to emily i felt a hand touch my thigh and i squealed and jumped.

i looked at emily with a scowl and she chuckled.

"everything okay?" hanna asked.

i looked at her and smiled, "huh? oh yeah everything is just great." emily yelped out when i said great, because i kicked my heel into her calf.

charlotte laughed, knowing what was going on and hanna and caleb were very confused.

"right em?" i said.

she nodded, "peachy."

i grinned and looked at her.

she tried not to laugh and i rolled my eyes but smiled.
