His arm sneaked around my waist, giving a few seconds to think about what was happening, and to decide if I liked it or not. Which I did. But I couldn't do anything. I swatted his arm away, falling to get rid of the muscular arm that was snaked around my tiny waist.
"Stop it, Grey." He smirked at my nickname for him, while I was trying to keep a serious face to scold him.
"Wipe that smirk off your face. You aren't special." I stormed off to go find Ginger, who was talking to Kale again. I grabbed her by the upper arm and yanked her to the side.
"Ginger I can't stand him. He's such a prick I can't deal with him! He thinks that he is so much better than everybody else - which for the record, he most definitely isn't. Can we just, I don't know, kick them out? Maybe you could just call your Aunt Jill and beg her to make them come home?" I gave her a shy smile, hoping she would find this idea as wonderfully amazing as I did. I wiggled my eyebrows and nodded at Kale, "you know... so you could have some time with that hottie and not have to worry about them stepping in?"
"Ree, you know I can't do that. For starters, I haven't even spoken to Aunt Jill in who knows how long, at least over 6 years. Plus, I mean, even though he's without a doubt the most annoying human being on the planet, he's my cousin. I don't know. I mean I can't just ruin their vacation and leave them without a house for a month. We can get through it, I promise." Ginger looked at me with huge eyes, signifying that she wanted something, and she wanted it bad.
"Okay, fine. They can stay."

An hour later, we left the beach with the boys in tow. Ginger invited Kale to go to dinner with us, so I texted Brianna and asked if she wanted to go to. If Ginger was going to have a boy that she liked there, I needed my feminine backup to keep Colton and Parker away from me. Brianna suggested a restaraunt that was seafood and a lot of teenagers who lived nearby went to during the summer. Both Kale and Brianna were going to come to our house at about 7:30.
Once we got back to the house, Ginger and I both walked up the stairs, into our room. We decided it would be best to shower before we went to dinner. Ginger hopped in first, and I decided that I would go grab a coke to drink while getting ready. I walked into the kitchen to find both of the boys eating sandwiches.
"Oh gosh, y'all realize that we're going to dinner in an hour? You're going to spoil your appetites." They looked at each other and started laughing uncontrollably, spitting food out in the process, almost spoiling my appetite.
"Jokes. I could eat a whole meal now and still be hungry for dinner later. Trust me on this one, Reeces Peanut Butter Cup." He smiled at my annoyed expression and blew me a kiss. I grabbed it out of the air and pretended to throw it in the trash.
"Ouch, Reece's Pieces. You sure know how to hurt a guy." I rolled my eyes and ran upstairs to finally shower. Ginger was blow drying her hair and straightening it, so I grabbed the speaker and turned it up, blasting my beach playlist.

My shower lasted about 15 minutes, then I got out and wiped down the mirror. I looked at my wet hair and face and saw my streaky make up. I took it off and wrapped a towel around my body and began to wrap one on my head. Opening the door, I walked out of the bathroom throwing up my towel on my head, walking over to my dresser and pulling clothes out.
"FYI I'm sitting right here so don't go and get naked. Or do, your choice." I turned swiftly to see Colton sitting on my bed smirking at me, looking me up and down.
"Holy shit. Get out! Oh my God! What the hell do you think you're doing here!" I wrapped my towel around myself tighter to make sure it wouldn't fall off.
"Chill woman. I was just coming to make sure you knew we were going to dinner in like 30 minutes and I wanted to make sure you were getting out of the shower soon." I walked over to him and grabbed his arm, pulling him to the door. I managed to shove him out and I slammed the door behind him.
"I'll be ready, but do not, under ANY circumstances, come into my room ever again!" He sighed on the other side of the door, whistling to signal him waiting for me.
"Dammit, Grey! I'll be ready! Just leave me alone!" I walked over to my dresser and slid on my undergarmets. I threw open the closet and searched to find the perfect outfit. In the back sat a pink sundress with white lace over it. I reached for my makeup and blowdryer and began to get ready.
Only 20 minutes later I walked with my cork wedges clanking on the stairs. Once I turn the corner I see 3 people sitting on the couch. A pair of green feminine eyes fall on me with a smile.
"Damn girl, aren't you looking fine." The two boys, who had been facing the opposite way, turned to see what she meant. Parker glanced at me only for a second, then going back to focus on Ginger, while Parker kept his gaze.
"I, um, you look good Reece. I mean, for a peanut butter cup." He caught himself in the middle, going from a sweet guy that I thought that maybe, just maybe, he could be to his normal, arrogent self. I rolled my eyes and reached for the car keys.
"C'mon Ginger let's go. Boys, we'll see you there."
"Woh woh woh, hold on a second. Why can't we just ride with you? You know, save gas, help the earth?" Parker questioned, clearly wanting to ride with Ginger, even though she wasn't interested.
"Uh, sure whatever. But y'all have to come now if you want to ride with us." They sprang up and grabbed their wallets and phones, rushing out behind us. I turned off the lights and shut the door behind us, preparing for what this dinner might entail.
