Regina walked back inside a few moments later to see Zelena still sitting on the couch.
She plopped down on the couch next to her.
"So he's back, huh?" Zelena asked.
"Yup." Regina replied.
"Tired?" Zelena asked Regina as she watched her eyes begin to droop.
"Yep." Regina replied. "I'm gonna go to bed."
"G'night." Zelena said. "Lillian should be home soon. I'll make sure she gets something to eat." She smiled.
Regina nodded and began her journey up the large, fancy staircase up to her room.
About an hour later, Zelena was started by the back door opening.
"Mum!" A shout rang through the house.
"Lily! I'm in here!" Zelena shouted.
Lillian walked into the living room and dropped her bag on the floor next to the staircase.
"Auntie Zena!" She sang.
"Hello, Lils!" Zelena said with a smile.
"Are you watching Wicked? I want to watch it!!" She shouted.
"Shhhh! Your mum just went up to bed a few minutes ago." Zelena said.
"Oh... Sorry." She whispered, walking over and sitting down on the couch. "so what's for dinner?" She asked.
"Um, pizza?" Zelena asked.
"YES!" She grabbed her phone out of her pocket and pressed the power button, going to her speed dial.
"Hello, I'd like a large cheese pizza, a large meat lovers, an order of breadsticks and a 8 piece honey barbeque wings." She said. "Sure thing! Thanks, Carl!"
She hung up the phone.
"Shall we watch the musical now?" Zelena asked.
Lillian nodded enthusiastically.
"Come here, munchkin!" Zelena said, holding her arms open.
Lillian smiled and scooted closer to her mother, laying her head on her shoulder.
Regina, who had been watching for a few moments smiled. She was glad she and Zelena had made up. There was no way she could have raised Lily on her own.
"Thank you, Zena." She whispered, walking back to her room quietly.
It was another 20 minutes before the doorbell rang and Lillian jumped up from the couch next to her mother and practically bounced over to the door.
"Hey, Carl!" She got the pizza from him and walked into the kitchen with them.
Zelena was already in there, pulling out plates and filling two cups with apple cider.
Lillian set the pizza down and put two pieces of cheese and a few wings and breadsticks onto her plate. She grabbed her drink and walked into he living room, Zelena in her heels.
Lillian smiled and sat down on the couch.
It had been a good day.
