Chapter 7

The guys all jumped to their feet just as five new people burst in the room. "We have to get her to safety!" One of the guys exclaimed. "Uh?" I was waiting to be introduced. "Oh right so this is Caleb, Shawn, Tyler, Garrett, and Eric," Carson said pointing to each one. "Who was trying to use their powers on me?' I asked crossing my arms." That would've been me," Eric stated quietly. "We had to track you by following the only person we couldn't use powers on so we chose Eric to do it," Garrett explained quickly, I guess he thought I was going to hurt him. "Oh cool, so what's your powers I asked questioning them. " I can make people unconscious, " Eric explained. "Force field of sorts," Garrett stated. "Seeing parts of the future," Tyler shrugged. "Extra speed and strength," Caleb said excitedly, I could tell he was just as new to this as me. "Lastly I can paralyze people," Shawn said looking totally chill. I giggled cause I used slang in my head. They looked at me curiously and shook their heads in amusement before looking away. "Yo what's up dawg? I otta kick yo ghetto a**," I said crossing my arms. Everyone laughed at me except Carson who was trying to hide his smile. "I will never understand you," he exclaimed, giving me a quick peck on my nose. "Well let's go!" Ethan said clapping his hands really loud making me jump back and bump into Eric and Shawn. I imagined Ethan getting cold water down his back and suddenly it happened. "Don't scare me like that!" I said as he shook off the cold water. "I'm a vampire, I don't get cold sweetheart,"Ethan taunted. "Oh dang," I said as if I forgot. In reality I know its freezing outside so guess who is going to have ice all over them? Especially since we are running vampire speed. Carson picked me up and we were off. About half an hour later we arrived at another house. "Gosh I'm stiff, should've put on dry clothes," Ethan exclaimed. I smirked and everyone else seemed to understand that I planned that all along. "She's a clever one," Caleb stated. I went upstairs after Carson and took a shower. When I opened the door to the bathroom there was another pile of clothes. I put on the undergarments with the black sweatpants and baby blue sweater that said 'Cutie' in bold black letters. I brushed my hair and teeth with the new hair and tooth brushes that were on the clothes. Walking out of the bathroom I ran into Carson and fell on my butt. He just stood there laughing!! Didn't even help me up, do rude. I picked myself up off the ground and walked around him. "Aww come on Ness, it was funny!" Carson trued to reason as I walked out of the room. I sat down between Eric and Ethan then crossed my arms with a pout in my face. "Babe come on, its been three hours!" Carson exclaimed, trying to get me to move. I have this thing called revenge planned, sitting here and not talking to him is just the beginning of my plan. "Vanessa, are you seriously going to continue with all this?" Garrett asked incredulously. I didn't even nod which made them all sigh. Good thing I was sitting Indian style because two hours later Carson picked me up and sat me down outside. I didn't move muscle. "You're not coming in until you move or talk!" Carson yelled, obviously tired of my game. I didn't even look at him, sure it was cold but I WOULD get my revenge!! All the guys stood around me in a circle and I noticed the darkness in their eyes. They needed to hunt but there is no way that they will let me stand up now and say,'Okay I'm done being mad, you all go hunt and I will be right here when you get back!' No they thought I was seriously pi$$ed at Carson for laughing at me so they thought I would go to the extreme and actually leave. Its not like I could run either, they are vampires after all. They started to move in closer and I backed up. I got to my feet and walked backwards until I hit the door. I couldn't find the handle and they were closing in fast. They got really close to me and with tears in my eyes I admitted what they were actually doing to me. "Please, you all are scaring me!" They all visibly jerked back as if being told to do so. "Ness," Carson whisperer trying to get closer to me. I whimpered and turned my head the other direction. "We need to hunt Carson, we can't have that happen again!" Shawn exclaimed. I finally got the door open and bolted inside. I sat in a corner and cried. They didn't mean to!! My mind screamed at me but nevertheless it scared me really bad. I heard movement from the front door and automatically pulled a force field around me. Sure I was in a corner crying but now they couldn't get to me. "Ness come here," Carson stated coming towards me. My eyes went wide in fear before I made sure my force field was steady. He hit the force field and stumbled back a few steps. "What the he**?!" Carson yelled banging against the force field as if he could break it. I puller my knees closer to my chest and his my face in them. I blocked out everyone and thought of a peaceful beach, only me and the beach. I eventually got drowsy and even I knew, since I was new I wouldn't be able to use my powers in my sleep yet, all I could hope for was that they would leave me alone. Those were my final thoughts as I drifted into oblivion.
