Ace's POV
I could see her face light up. I didn't know what was wrong with her but I needed to know. Seeing her eyes light up like this just made my heart melt. I didn't understand this feeling that she was making me feel.
-It really is beautiful I heard her murmured
I just look at her and smile in respond-Have you ever done anything prohibited? I ask her breaking the silence
-Like what?
-Like swimming in the lake that the sign said not to.
-You want me to go swim in the lake? She said her eyes wide open.
-Why not?
-We can catch something... We can be sick.
-I've been playing in that water since I was 5 and trust me I've never gotten sick.
She gave me the "I'm not sure look" and I find it pretty adorable. I noticed that Everytime she's confuse or unsure she wiggles her nose. It makes me wanna get to know her even more.
"Someone is falling in love" I heard a voice say in my head.
Was I?
-Come on...
-Where to?
-The lake duh
-What if I don't want to?
-Then we are not leaving... As simple as that.
She look at me in a way of challenging me.I guess it's a tie...because we actually didn't swim in the lake. She actually convinced me to only put our feet in the water.
I was staring at her, while she was playing with the grass.
-Why do you seem so sad? I suddenly found myself say.
She looked at me with so much pain in her eyes.
-Why would you like to know?
-I don't know...
I didn't wanna admit to her that I felt a little bit concern. I didn't even know what my feelings toward her meant. I didn't know if anything could ever happen between us. She seemed so peaceful, such an amazing person and I could see that something was blocking her...-I lost my twin brother in a motorcycle accident 4 months ago she suddenly said in a low voice, her eyes filled with water.
And at this moment, I realize that everything I wanted to have with her, all this unexplainable feelings that I had for her would never change anything because I would hurt her again.
