Opal's POV

Mom, Noah, Ty and I have spent a good afternoon; a thing we haven't done since a long time. At least it kept me from thinking about whatever I learn from Georgia today...if it was something serious. I was about to go to bed when I heard a knock on my door.
-yes?
I saw Noah take a peek inside my room.
-Can I come in? He asked
-yes I said waving at him. Since when do you ask nor knock? I continue playfully
Totally forgetting that things have change, that he haven't come to my room since... I feel like everything is related to Seth...which is...but everything I have to refer, to think about leads toward him.
-about what you said, did the guy do something to you? He said approaching my bed
What was he talking about???... Owe that.Why would he think that?

-because ever since you came from school, you seemed down.
-I'm always down.

-Why do you care? I said a little bit harsh. Too harsh. Didn't know where that attitude was coming from.

So now he worries? When I needed him the most, he would locked himself up and let me deal it on my own.
-Well you shouldn't. I'm fine.

-okay... Well you know you can always talk to me. He breath out walking toward the door.
I smiled at him in response, then he left.
I let out a huge sight, took my phone, starred at it for a sec, and decided to turn it back on.
I felt my phone vibrates in my hand a thousand times. Text from Ava, from Ace... Missing calls
I checked Ava's texted first anxious to look at Ace's.
"Hey, I've been trying to reach you since this afternoon. I wanted to hear your voice, and see if we could see each other soon. Hope you okay. Call me when you can." I read the msg over and over again, my heart beating very fast. Should I text back? Should I call?

Ace's POV
"I'm fine, thanks for checking"

Thanks for checking? was all that she could think about? Something was wrong? I don't know what and I need to find out.
Before her, I didn't know what it was like to be happy... Really happy. I'd full around with other girls but with her, I know what it feels like to be fulfilled, to be complete. She's definitely worth everything. I know it scares me, this new thing...this new feeling, and now that I know that feeling, to live without it? There's no point.

If I had to miss school today, then I will. It's 7:45 in the morning, and I was at her school parking lot, waiting for her to show. I know, I'm being a freak...acting like those creepy little dudes, who's stalking their girlfriends or crush, no offense to anyone, but still...come on... I've never done this.

I saw her park her car, getting ready to get out. I got out of mine, ready to head toward her, but was cut off but Georgia.
-Aceee, I heard her call, wait up.
Ugh... What does she wants?
-Hey... She said when we were finally facing each other.
- Hey I said a little bit annoyed.
See, Georgia and I had a little something. Well, actually it was more than something, but then she left me for some other guy.
-What are you doing here? She asked
-came to see someone.
- Fernandez?
Who? I starred at her confused.
-Opal? Opal Fernandez? That's her last name
-What do you want? I asked her, still starring in Opal's direction.
-I told her about us you know?
-What? Which us? There's no us G
That's why Opal was ignoring me. She thinks that Georgia and I had or still have something going on.
-You still call me by that nickname.
I starred at Opal again, to realize that she spotted me. As soon as we made eye contact, she started to head straight to her school's building.
-Gotta go...
I started jogging toward Her.
-Opal. I called
She starred in my direction, and walk faster.
-Opal, wait...
She finally stopped, starred at me without saying anything.
- I don't know what G told you, but there's nothing going on between me and her.
I've waited for her to say something but she stayed silent.
-We did have something before, which was a long time, but now we just 2 people who use to know each other...
No answer.
-Being around you drives me nuts and not being around you drives me nuts. I breath out, freaking out. I swear that girl gets me all emotional and sh*t.
-Okay... I'm confused she finally said.
-Do you like me? I said starring deep in her eyes. I saw love in her eyes and it scares the hell out of me.
-yes, I... I do like you she shyly said lowing her head.
I approach her, and lift her head gently by her chin.
-And I like you too, I said starring deep in her eyes again.
-what about Georgia?
-I don't care about her Opal, I care about you. You're the nicest girl I've ever met.
-we all know nice girls finish last. She said taking a step back.
I caught her by the waist, stopping her from moving any further.
-I like you, I repeat again... You,Opal... and I could scream it right now, If you'd ask me to.
