My mind told that I wanted this, that she was the one for me. But something deep down told me I was busy with something else. That this wasn't right.

Ariana flicked her arms around my neck passionately and I pulled her face closer, but I felt like I was being forced to.

Suddenly Grace's face popped up in my train of thoughts, and I remembered who I loved. Not Ariana, and not any other girl.

I loved Grace Harrington.

And it was Grace whose voice that I could hear whimpering from inside this house. I knew what I had to do.

Pulling the witch in closer, I pretended to kiss her more longingly, bringing my hands up round her face, then *click*

In a flash I had snapped the young witch's neck, with not a nerve of regret. Tossing her onto the wooden porch, I once again tried to step inside the house, to find that the magical barrier was gone. She must live on the property. I flashed a mischievous smirk, before zipping inside.

Klaus's POV:

I flashed my brother onto speed dial, as I could feel the anger inside me boil up further and further.

Damon had explained to me about how Stefan had gone to save them. But now the young Salvatore had come back to Mystic Falls with nothing more than he left with. Except worry.

I knew that I should've trusted my own judgement. If you want something done, you gotta do it yourself, I thought as my brother's phone rung for the forth time. On the fifth he picked up, answering in a whisper.

"'Ello Nik."

I scowled to myself, then started pacing around the room. My own room, as I had travelled back home in frustration half an hour earlier.

"Are you saving Grace or what?"

He chuckled quietly. "I've got her right next to me actually. But we are in a bit of a pickle. Where are the Salvatores?"

I huffed. "They fell into the witches' stupid trap. At least you managed to demand Bonnie to lead you to Grace."

He laughed again. "That was simple. Now brother, please track where my call is coming from, we need some he-"

The call abruptly cut off, followed by a distant crackling noise. I slammed the phone down onto the table, before calling a .guy who could help me with tracing calls.

I could hear Rebekah chuckling in the backround. I knew she hated Elena, but I didn't know what her feelings were for Grace. She was probably jealous that she was no longer Kol's favourite girl.

But I knew one thing for sure. I would find these witches. With, or without the Salvatores help.

Grace's POV:

I sighed deeply as the witch yanked the phone away from Kol, glaring at us with deep contempt. He had just killed two of her sisters. I would be terrified to be on his end of that evil stare.

He just grinned back at her, his usual Kol confidence on full display. I thought back to the last ten minutes with a smirk, and it all started from when he broke Ariana's neck.

Kol had strode into the house, shoulders back, head held high, and simply killed Frieda, the weaker of the two remaining witches. Unfortunately, this made the one sister very mad.
