I think that Ffion requested this like a month ago. So sorry Ffion! But here it is, so don't throw any sharp objects at me.

It's your third day of work, at the local Starbucks. You like working here, but some people are just too rude. They get pissy if you mess up, even when you explain to them that it's only your third day.

Jerks. They also suck at tipping. Thank you bastards, it's not like you need that money for rent or anything. Obviously, it hasn't been a good day. You've had coffee spilled on you twice, a little girl threw her smoothie on the floor because it wasn't strawberry, and a man tried to take the tips jar.

"Ffion! We have a customer, can you take the register?" the shift manager, Anna asks you. You groan inwardly, but paste on a smile and nod. You run your hands through your hair, and put it under your Starbucks hat.

"Sure Anna." You take a deep breath, and step up to the register. A tall guy, with his hair combed up into a quiff is standing, staring up at the board. He smiles, and you think to yourself, whoops. Hello. Hot guy alert.

And he is hot. Like really hot, and suddenly you feel a bit awkward. Your hair is pulled up in a ponytail, and there's a coffee stain on your apron. "Can I help you?" you ask, smiling. He grins back, and says, "I''d like a large caramel latte please." You type it into the register.

"That'll be 4.35, and what's the name?"

"Jack. Jack Howard."

"Alright Jack, your coffee will be ready in a minute or so!" you say, and he walks away with one last smile your way.

As you are helping the next customer, Anna walks up to you with a paper in her hand. She taps you on the shoulder and says "The hot guy who ordered the latte left this for you." You take it, and unfold it.

Hey, thanks for the coffee.
