Finn Harries- For Sydney

You take a deep breath and smooth your striped shirt. As you adjust your glasses, and scarf you check the clock. It's five o'clock. Finn should be here soon. Finn Harries, brother of Jack Harries, and owner of the YouTube channel jacksgap. He's your best friend. He and Jack have known you since you were in diapers. Despite Jack and Finn being identical twins, you've really only had feelings for Finn. He's beautiful, inside and out, no matter how cheesy and cliche that sounds.

He's the type of guy that will treat a girl like she's a queen. Of course you fell in love with him. Isn't that always how it goes? The girl and guy are best friends, girl inevitably falls in love with guy, guy loves girl, they date and then get married. That's essentially how your relationship is. Except Finn isn't in love with you. Or at least you don't think he is. There are some things that make hope grow in you, but then you remember the girl Finn talks about all the time.

The girl he's claiming he's in love with. You're jealous of her. She has Finn's heart, she better not break it. Does she even know how what you would give to have his attention on you? You frown, realizing Finn has never told you this girl's name.

*DING DONG* Ooh the doorbell. That should be Finn and Jack. You run down the stairs and yank the door open, only revealing Finn. You frown. "Where's Jack?"

"Hello to you too, Syd." Finn says, chuckling. You notice the smile doesn't reach his eyes, but you brush it off. You grin and hug him. You relish the feeling of his strong arms around you. After he releases you, you smile and ask "Seriously though. Where's Jack?" Finn rolls his eyes.

"He threw up. So he's not coming." You bite your lip. Internally you're freaking out. How are you supposed to deal with being with Finn for three hours alone? How are you gonna be able to trust yourself to not jump him?

"Oh. Maybe we should cancel then..." You say teasingly. Finn doesn't laugh though. You watch his normally happy face darken slightly before a grin takes over.

"Aw come on. I'm not that bad am I?" You chuckle, and follow him out of your house to the Mini. He opens the passenger door exaggeratedly, bowing. You giggle and salute him, sitting down. You watch him walk in front of the car, and then sit down and start it up. He just sits there for a minute.

"What's wrong?" You ask, reaching out to touch his shoulder. He tenses and the smiles.

"Sorry. Daydreaming." You nod in understanding, and he pulls away from the curb

"Where are we going Finn?" You ask, looking  out the window.

"Oh I thought we'd go to Dan and Phil's. They needed my help with an animation. After that maybe then we could go to the cinema?" he says. You grin. Dan and Phil are awesome. Dan is the only one who knows how you feel about Finn. He only knows because the first time you met, he cornered you in the kitchen and just simply said, "So. You love Finn don't you." You had spit out your mouthful of soda, choking slightly.

"What?!" He had sighed, and rolled his eyes. "I see the way you look at him. You're in love with him aren't you." It wasn't a question. It was a statment. You had groaned, and then nodded. He had just hugged you, and then said "And wipe up that soda. I don't want my floor sticky." That had made you give a small giggle.

So, yes you're excited when you pull up to the apartment building. You race Finn up the stairs. You knock on Phil and Dan's door while you giggle at Finn gasping for air, quite comically.

Dan pulls the door open, and immediately hugs you, shrieking "MY FELLOW LLAMA LOVER HAS ARRIVED!" You laugh, as he pulls you inside. Phil is sitting on the couch, glaring at the laptop. He looks up when Dan yanks you into the room. He waves as Dan continues tugging you down the hallway to his room. 

"Alright honey spill. What happened?" he says, plopping down on his bed, pulling you with him. YOu groan, and start telling him about the girl Finn keeps talking about. He winces a couple times, and you're feeling throughly depressed by the end of it. Then, he smirks, and gets his idea glint.

"Well, hows about we make him jealous?" You just stare at him. "What?" You rolls his eyes. 

"Let's try to make him jealous." You groan, but agree. He rubs his hands together and laughs evilly.  Then, he takes your hand and laces your fingers together. You take a deep breath, and then follow him. He sits down on the couch, pulling you into his  lap, putting your intertwined hands on your knee. Finn glances up, and you see him frown, before he stands up and runs off. Dan nods and mouths "Go." You stand up, and follow Finn into the kitchen. He's taking a long drink from a soda.

You tap him on the shoulder, and say "Finn, what's wrong? You've been acting kind of weird tonight?" He snorts, and then turns to you, and grabs your chin, pressing your lips together. You stiffen, but then wrap your arms around his neck, kissing back.

He pulls away, and says "Because. You and Dan. And you were disappointed when Jack didn't come. I kept dropping all these hints, hugging you more than usual, I even tried to make you jealous! I talked about other girls. They were all you by the way. Nothing worked. So I figured I could kiss you, and you'd either kiss back, or you'd push me away and tell me you didn't feel the same way. Either way, I'd get to kiss you."

Your response is to kiss him again, murmering "I love you idiot." before you wrap your arms around his neck and the kissing continues.
