Dark One's P.O.V

Joey believes it! She actually believes it! I thought she was smarter than this, but she actually believed it! You can trick a girl in love into believing anything!

Nolan's P.O.V

"Do you know when she'll be back?" Emma asks me.

"I have no idea. She said she'll be back shortly, so anytime now."

Right as I say that, I hear the window creak open. I whisk around and see a girl coming through. It's Joey!

"Joey! You're okay!" I say, while coming towards her.

"Yeah, now I am." She says while she hugs me.

"Where's Pan?"

"Back in Neverland. Do you know what time it is?" She says, changing the subject.

"Uh, around 12:00 A.M. Why?"

"Why are you two up this late?" She asks, laughing a little. She looks at Emma.

"We were just talking." I say.

"Who's Pan. And...Neverland?" Emma joins in on the conversation.

"Oh, uh..." I don't know what to say.

"Pan is our old dog. Neverland Road is the name of the the street we used to live on, believe it or not."

"Oh, well you must really love Peter Pan."

"...only when we were kids."

"Oh, well, you two can talk, I'm going back to sleep." Emma says, walking to her bed.

"Alright." I say, looking at Joey.

"Nice one!" I whisper to her.

"Yeah, we gotta be more careful with what we say next time."

"....yeah..... So what took you so long?"

"Pan thought he would show me all the wonderful things in Neverland. But, really, there are none." I could tell there was pain in her voice, could sense it when the words came out of her mouth. She started to walk to our bunk bed.

"But don't worry about it. Well, I'm going to get some sleep. Maybe that'll help." She continued. She climbed up in the top bunk.

"Alright." But I have to worry about it. Something happened in Neverland, and I have a guess what.

Pan's P.O.V

After playing games with my Lost Boys I feel better. But I still miss Joey. I can't take it. She died right in front of me, and I let her. I don't think I'll ever let myself live this one down.

But I have to do something. I can't just let her lay there.

I'll bury her.

I get out of my tent and fly to the mermaid's lagoon. I go straight to the spot where she lay, flashbacks of her death coming to mind. But, she's not laying there.

"What did you do with her?" I yell. I turn around and stare at the mermaids that now have come up from the water. It's dark out, but I can still see their devil eyes flashing at me.

"What did you do with her?" I yell louder, having to repeat myself.

"Us? Why, we didn't do anything!" The one in the middle says. They all giggle and laugh. I walk over to the lagoon and take my hand and stick it right in her chest. I pull out a heart.

"Tell me where she is or I will crush her heart this fast." I snap, referring to her heart and how fast I can crush it.

"We swear we didn't do anything!" One of them say, while the others gasp and scream. I have a tight grasp on the middle one's heart. She's gaping like the fish she is for air.

I look at her heart. It's black, but it has a red spot. I shove it back in her chest and she takes a deep breath in.

"If you didn't take her, than who did?" I yell.

"There..there was a man. He gave her a potion or something, then took her body to his ship." The one of the far left says hesitantly.

"What did he look like?"

"He had a black beard, looked like a pirate. Oh! And he had a hook for a hand!" Another one tells me. They all nod to each other.

"Captain Hook." I mutter under my breath.

Hook's P.O.V

I feel terrible. That girl. When I told her that, she was heartbroken. Just like I was when my heart got broken. I caused that. I caused her to feel the same pain I felt. And she loved him. A lot. I can't believe it. How can someone like her like a bloody demon like him?

It's almost as if he's changed the last time I saw him. Impossible. He could never change.
