Pan's P.O.V

As I fly through the clouds I finally spot the orphanage. I jet down as fast as I can. My feet finally touch the ground. I make careful preparations by freezing everyone in the building except Joey. I can't slip up again.

I climb through the window to her bedroom, and I see her lying in her bed. I try not to make any sounds because I don't want to wake her. But the window's creaky and I'm not a quiet person.

I see her roll around some in her bed. She's waking up. She sits up and looks around. She's beautiful even with her bed head.

"Joey!"

"Pan?" She gets out of her bed and starts to climb down the top bunk.

"Yeah, it's me!"

She finally reaches the floor and stares at me. I walk closer to her.

Joey's P.O.V

It's Pan. He tries to walk closer to me, and I want to, too, but then I snap back to reality.

"I can't believe you! I never want to see you again! Why'd you even come back here if your job was over, huh? Breaking my heart once wasn't good enough for you? Did you have to make sure it was shattered to your full extent?" I don't hold any anger back. He doesn't deserve to see any good side of me.

"Joey..what are you talking about?"

"Don't act all innocent with me, Pan! I know what you did! I know that you were faking the feelings! I know that all the feelings I saw in your eyes were fake!"

"Joey..I..."

"Don't start!" I do take the time to look in his eyes, though. I see hurt and longing.

"Who told you all of this?"

"What does it matter, anyway?"

"It matters because it's not true!"

"Prove it!" I was screaming now.

"Well prove that he's telling the truth!"

"First of all, he knew about all that stuff. How when I looked in your eyes I saw emotions, and how you called me special for it. Second, he showed me what you were doing when you still thought I was dead. You were playing with swords. Swords. You know what those swords have done, Pan!"

Pan's P.O.V

My mind immediately goes back to when I was talking with Hook. It has to be him.

"It was Hook, wasn't it?" I say calmer this time, but definitely not happy. It's disappointment.

She just stares up at me. The distance between us makes me cringe.

A few minutes go by. Then, she looks down and nods. I can tell she's trying not to cry. I can see it in her face. Her eyes are turning red. Her breathing is lapsing. But she's holding it in. She doesn't want to cry in front of me.

"Joey...I..."

"Just, stop Pan. Please." She holds her stomach like she feels sick and she goes to sit down on the bed.

"Let me explain..."

"Just leave, Pan." She says "Pan" with the coldest tone. I look at her one more time and then I climb out the window and fly away.
