The Beginning

Chapter One

Waking up was always hard for Averie, but on this particular day it couldn't be. Averie was about to leave the United States to live her life and it was huge. She wasn't allowed to be late for her plane or she wouldn't be able to catch the next one until Friday, which right now, it's currently Wednesday. On another hand Averie was moving in with her best friend Riley. Riley and Averie meet over Twitter. Both girls ran fan accounts, Averie's was for pewdiepie while Riley's was for Five Seconds of Summer. The girls are polar opposite, but somehow got along well. Riley lives just in walking distance of everything Averie needs to survive, although Averie's parents do not know she is going to be living in London with someone she met online.

"Averie, it's time to go." Averie's dad yelled up the stairs carelessly. Truth be told he did not want Averie moving to London for it held deep secrets.

"I'm coming!" Averie said as she ran down the stairs, skipping the last step.

"Alright." Her mother sighed, "lets go."

So they did. Averie ran out to the car while carrying her suitcase, 3 travel bags, and a backpack full of the necessities. As the car drove along Averie began to wonder what life in London would be like. Seeing the last of her child hood disappear as she left she couldn't help, but smile. This was the new beginning she asked for.

"Alright. This is it." Averie's dad sighed as he pulled up to the airport, "I love you sweets." Her mom finished taking Averie's hand and kissing it.

"Goodbye." Averie waved before practically running to entrance to plane 34c.

"Last call for plane 34c!" A lady about 60 yelled over the speaker.

Averie was relieved as she walked to the plane with her bag that carried her computer and chargers. This was it. She was leaving everything she had ever known.

Several hours later she was landing in London. The moment she got off the plane Averie texted Riley to make sure she was there. Of course, Riley being Riley, she was right on time.

"AVERIE!" Riley screams as a greeting and ran to her embracing the small girl

"Riley." Averie whispered in her best friends shoulder. She was far to tired and emotional to yell.

"I can't believe it's you." Riley smiled, tearing up and hugged the small girl once again

"It's me." Averie smiled weakly. She was so jet lagged and felt sick from being on the airplane she wanted to puke.

"Let's go then, yeah?" Riley asked grabbing some of Averie's things and walking her to the car.

The drive to Riley's apartment was short, but to Averie it seemed like a lifetime. Nervousness and excitement flowed through Averie's bloodstream as the car came to a stop.

"Well here it is. Now only three flights of stairs!" Riley said, enthusiastically.

"Fun." Averie said sarcastically while forcing herself out of the car.

It was quite the struggled, but Averie and Riley were able to get everything up the stairs and to Averie's room. Riley was so excited for Averie to come and feel comfortable she bought her a bed, a few posters, a bed set, and a dresser. Everything was set up except the posters and the stuff Averie had bought.

"Well, I leave you to it. Do what you'd like. Don't mind our neighbors, they're quite something. Get some rest and come out when you're ready." Riley said and exited the room, closing the door behind her.

Averie, unsure of what do first, plopped on her bed. She decided it was best to make her bed first seeming she might fall asleep. Averie rolled off her bed and stood up. She grabbed the bed set that was placed on her dresser and ripped it open. One pillow case, a sheet, and a blanket. The set was a nice royal red color and Averie couldn't help,but smiling at the fact Riley remembered her favorite color. Averie quickly made the bed and grabbed her pillow case and chucked the pillow inside, tossing it on the bed afterwards. Suddenly having the energy to unpack everything, Averie did just that and afterwards rests her head on her pillow and drifts off.
