It had been two days. Two days since Averie and Dan kissed, two days since the video, and two days since Averie realized that Dan would never want her the way she wanted him.

The fans were suspicious so Dan and Averie had to keep their distance, but secretly it was tearing them up inside. Dan wanted nothing more than to hold Averie in a proper hug because of all that was happening and Averie wanted nothing more than to just see him. The two of them had been texting but it was nothing like seeing each other.

Phil would come over still and talk to Riley, but Averie never bothered to listen to what they had to say. She heard bits and pieces but never did she purposely listen. She didn't want to hear what either of them had to say about her and Dan moping.

"Wait, so he's just laying in the hallway?" Riley asked

"Yeah, just laying there. I don't know what the fuck happened with them but you need to tell her, Riley." Phil whispered.

"I'm not telling her. She can't know yet."

"They need to know why they're so familiar to each other. It's tearing them both up inside. You can tell. They're both moping because they clearly have feelings for each other left from before now but they don't even know there was a before now. They feel like they can't love each other because as far as they know they just met."

"Maybe it should stay that way for a while."

"Wasn't the whole point of you bring Averie here to London was to see Dan and to reveal the truth?"

"Look." Riley sighed "All I'm saying is maybe her parents had a good reason for all of this."

"I doubt it. All I know is I'm tired of seeing my best friend miserable. You better tell Averie, soon."

Phil left the flat in a storm. Never had the boy been so angry. He just wanted Riley to tell the truth.

"Averie?" Riley called.

"What's up?" Averie asked, emerging from her room.

"Go see Dan."

"W-what? Why?"

"He misses you and you miss him. Phil and I are tired of the moping. Go see him."

Averie walked to the door, silently obeying. She wanted nothing more than to finally see Dan face to face again.

"Dan?" Averie called out once she was in his flat.

"Averie?"

"Dan."

Averie stopped in her tracks and turned to face the boy. Her hear swelled with happiness as she ran to his arms, hugging him.

"I've missed you." Averie whispered, hugging him closer.

"I've missed you." Dan said, kissing the top of her head.

"I'm sorry for everything."

"There's nothing to be sorry about, Averie."

Averie looked up at Dan. They were still in each other arms and neither of them wanted to move.

"I feel like it's all my fault."
