All I could hear was the sound of my heart beating painfully inside my chest, my haggard breathing and my fast trembling feet leading me to no where in this pitch black night. Sure, I'm lost.
I don't know why I'm running. And to whom I'm running for. I had a feeling to be safe. Away from here.
Luckily, I saw an alleyway full of colorful graffiti and I hid myself in a mountain of different kinds of garbage bags. I didn't mind the foul odor and something like soft touching my skin, and something wet thing kissing my butt. No one could have an idea that someone was hiding in this awful place.
I clammped my mouth with my dirty hands and closed my eyes. I could hear the sound of the dripping of water in the near canal. My heart races a million miles and I had a hard time breathing. By then, I heard heavy footsteps approaching.
"Where is she?!" I flinched. A strong Brazilian accent man let out an animalistic growl. Sending goosebumps through my spine.
"You lost her? Damn! She shouldn't get away this time!" Frustration was clear in his voice.
"Go that way. And if you found her, kill her." He ordered.
Making me still and a tear rolled down my cheek.I didn't dare move an inch until I heard no sound. I never noticed I was holding my breath.

I automatically shut the door behind me and locked it as I slumped down to the floor like all the energy I had was drained out of me. My heart was excruciatingly hammering inside my chest. I can actually hear my heart beating in my ear. I wrapped my arms around my knees.
I sucked a lungful of air, relaxing myself. I can't help but to let the tear flow. I'm so scared for my life.
"You don't know them. You did nothing wrong with them." I keep on chanting over and over.
Just then, I heard a sharp beeping sound that sent a stab of fear through me.
That voice mail again.
I got up and with trembling hands, I pressed the red botton.
"Sam." He spoke and a loud gunshot can be visibly heard in the distance.
