Chapter Fourteen

Emeri's POV

Hmmmmmmm. That was odd. I thought thing were going so well with Brenna and then she just left. And that girl Sierra, every time she sees Louis she's got stars in her eyes and heart across her smile.

I kind of feel bad cause she's got a thing for him. But I have to take a lot of that as Louis girlfriend. Sometimes I wonder if the spark between us has started to die, or if it's near the end of the firework show. Of maybe that skyrocket, has come back for landing, ready for another trip. I still got to mull that one over though because I still like him a lot but, I'm not sure if the magic is still there. It might be time to just go back to being the friends we were.

But it almost seems as if he's got a slight hidden thing for Sierra too, I mean he lies it when she's around. But I could be totally crazy.

I started texting Brenna but she said she was busy cheering up Sierra. Awe, I felt kind of bad.

I wonder if I should.... I snapped out of my thoughts when someone gently tapped my shoulder. I whipped my head around and it was Louis! Man, I guess I've got to talk to him sooner than I'd hoped. "Hey," he said sounding slightly nervous. "Is now a good time for us to talk?" He asked politely, hoping we could. I replied with yes and motioned for him to take a seat across from me because I was still in tr centre of greasy ville McDonalds, yay.

"I think we should talk about our relationship" he said, sounding more nervous. I agreed as we started discussing how it's slow and not really going anywhere. Well, that was a happy surprise!! He feels the same way!!! We said how we thought there wasn't anything left, no magic.

The conversation continued on for a little as we discussed a solution. I was surprised how quick it was getting to where it was going to-the point where we should break up. I agreed and it painlessly happened. I hugged him and told him I love him so much and we should stay friends. He replied with an: I'm so glad I've known you for so long, you have been such a great friend it's staying that way he kissed me on the cheek, hugged me an left.

I texted Brenna for her and Sierra to meet me here at McDonalds because I have a huge surprise for them!!!! She replied with be there in 5.

I peeled my legs off of the now sweaty plastic to go order 3 Mcflurrys. This is why plastic and shorts don't mix!

I walked over to the counter pushing through people to get in a line up. My phone buzzes: almost there.

That was from Brenna.

After a few minutes of impatiently waiting, I finally got to the front of the line. 3 medium Oreo McFlurrys I spat out hurriedly. She gave me my total and I did some more impatient waiting of those to be ready.

I could've ordered every single donut in Tim Hortons by now, I thought.

Before the man who helped me had finished speaking the number of the meal that was ready, I had already snatched it an headed over to the comfy chairs to get seated.

Another kid was also racing for the comfy chairs. So I lined up my arm with the table and dove for the chairs. I landed with my arm smushed into the table but thankfully all the ice cream were safe!

My face still lies smushed into the crumb covered faux leather seat by the electric fireplace.

"Emeri?" I hear a voice call from behind me. I lifted my head then spun around to see Brenna and Sierra tower over me. They were so tall and even more intimidating with there arms crossed and I was on my knees. I stood up with a smile and asked them to sit down, Handing them their McFlurrys.

They started to hungrily devour them as I told them the story. And right when I said the words: "and he said, do you think we should break up?" Sierra excitedly choked on her mouthful of ice cream, managing to get the curious words did you? out of her mouth. I nodded as she piercingly shrieked in amazement.

She looked so happy. She hugged me like 18 times. "Now my true love and I can finally be together!" I swear I heard her mutterly exclaim. She said in a total fan girl way

"okay so I know you totally probably didn't break up for me but I wanna thank ya so muuuuuuch!!!!!!" She yelled perkily.

They both invited me to meet the rest of their crew so I agreed.

We shoved through the vidcon crowd, noticing it was a little larger and stuffier then usual. Everyone seemed to be crowded around something but we couldn't hear or see what at the very back. We pushed an squeezed through everyone in our way until we finally got to the front.

I heard Brenna and Sierra gasp in unison. Right in front of us was the entire 1D band and they were signing, giving autographs and taking pictures.

But right beside them was a giant sign that read: who's cuter? Louis or Harry? Well. You don't have To choose!! If your name gets picked out, you will be sent on a two day one night trip in to the mountains with both Louis and Harry!!!!
I read that as the same time as they did so I could tell Sierra's squeal was about that.

Time to get some pictures I thought. I tapped Niall on the back and he turned around and gave me a hug. Him, Liam, Louis and Harry all agreed to sign everything wanted and take however many pictures.

They even let Sierra fill out 10 ballots to enter to win the draw. We all left with goodbye hugs and they had all their trinkets signed. Sierra couldn't stop thanking me. She got so many texts from Louis! I think I'm starting to fit in. I wish I could meet those other girls.
