With the help of Vanessa, Austin stood from the ground and washed the blood off of his face, finding a few minor cuts and bruises, nothing too major. He smiled down at her and kissed her again.
"I've got to go, and you should too, eat before going out."
She nodded and watched as he painfully limped from the room, he walked out not ten minutes after Parker had and found her leaning against the wall next to the door.
"You all right?"
He nodded and took a step towards the house, but collapsed once he put weight on his leg, standing had made the pain worse. He felt Parker's hand on his back as she helped him up.
"We need to get you back."
