s u m m a r y ; you two are still divorced

You sat on the edge of your bed. The same bed that you slept in with Justin. The bed that you, Justin, and the children cuddled in. The bed that helped you and Justin conceive your two beautiful children.

Just thinking about Justin made you burst into a fit of salty tears. You couldn't help that your mind would always drift back to the man you'd spent two years with.

From the day of your divorce, you'd always wonder what he was doing. Being with Selena? Going on tour? Partying with those models? And the worst. . .forgetting about his family with you?

The reason of your divorce was just Justin not caring anymore. After your first year in marriage, Justin partied more, leaving you with your children. Yes, he might've been bringing money home, but you could do that, too. You really just was his time. Something he didn't give you nor your children.

And, you couldn't take it anymore. . .so you got a divorce. . .

So, there you sat, on the empty bed, crying your dark eyes out about Justin. Your shoulders shook, rapidly, as the sobs racked your body. Your love for Justin had grown over those two years, even when he wasn't around. Like now. . .

You tried to cry silently, knowing that your two children were just a few rooms away sleeping. It was late in the night, and you knew that you should be getting sleep, because tomorrow was going to be a long day.

You start wiping your tears, just as more appear. You knew that this wasn't going to work. . .

You get up from the bed, and go into your private bathroom you used to share with Justin. Everything in the house reminded you of that famous singer that gave you two beautiful biracial  children.

Silently, you close the door, and walk to the mirror. You were to look, because you knew you weren't looking good. But, you looked anyway.

Once you looked up, you saw the tear streaks that trailed down your cheeks, your red nose, and your bloodshot eyes. You looked horrible.

Cringing at yourself, you grabbed some tissue to clean your face up a bit.

After you finished, you walk back into your bedroom and plop down on the bed. Sighing lowly into the air, you lay down, pulling the cover over your head, trying to forget about everything around you.

"Okay, babies, today will be a rough day," You explain to the two faces that stare up at  you, adoringly. You let a sad smile up upon your lips as you look down at them.

Today, was the court day. You and Justin fought for custody of the two children. Which meant you had to see Justin again. You bit back tears just thinking about this. . .

You grabbed onto your children's little, warm hands as you walk them to the truck waiting outside by the curb for the three of you.

Of course, your children didn't know what was going on, but wondered where their father was.

Opening the backseat car door, you grabbed your little girl by her small torso to place her into her car seat. After that, you put your little boy into his car seat.
