Ariel's POV:

Today is Christmas Eve, which means it's also Louis Tomlinson's birthday. My parents didn't work today and don't work tomorrow as well. So they decided to sleep in. Right when I woke up I sent Louis a text:

Happy Twentyteen Birthday Lou! Sorry couldn't go to ur birthday bash. I'll hav Li make it up to u. :P cya! Oh & merry Christmas! I know, too early. :P

I didn't wait for a response because I'm pretty sure he's busy. These past 4 days in Cheshire have been very relaxing. It's a change from the city life that I got used to. I was wearing a loose pair of sweatpants and a Jack Willis hoodie. I put on some warm boots and headed downstairs. It was already 11 A.M. and my parents weren't up. Oh well.

I noticed the Christmas tree was still light up. My parents and I decorated it last night. Like always, I put the star on top of the tree. I smiled at the little memory and made my way to the kitchen. As I took out some fruit for my lunch, I heard my phone ringing.

A: Ello Simon!

S: Hello Ariel. You have a job to do.

A: I do? *eyebrows scrunched up in confusion*

S: Yes, I forgot to tell you before you left for Cheshire. Do a little video for your fans saying Merry Christmas. Email it to me, and in an hour we will send you the link so you can tweet it.

A:*groaning* Oh come on Simon! Can I at least have lunch first and change?

S: Yes. You have an hour to get it done Ariel.

*End of Call*

I cursed under my breath and quickly finished my lunch. I showered and changed into a white lace dress with some white glittery flats. I curled my hair and applied my usual makeup. I made sure my usual jewelry was on, and grabbed my camera. I knew exactly what to do for the video. I didn't mind that Simon told me to make a video. It bothered me that he told me at a short notice. I put it on my tripod. I made sure that it was pointing towards the direction of the sofa and grabbed Star. I positioned myself on the sofa in my bedroom and grabbed the control that controlled the actions from my camera. I pressed play  and let the camera run a couple of seconds.

I started talking with a smile on my face the entire time, "Greetings Rockers! I hope you're all fine and happy, if you're not... Then watch the One Direction video diaries! They are so funny!" I started to laugh and controlled it so I could go on. "Anyways before I go on a ranting spree that involves all my fandoms... I hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas, if you don't celebrate Christmas, then I hope you're having a wonderful winter break! This year I'm back at home for the holidays. I won't say where I'm at, because that's a secret. Sh!" I said while holding up a finger to my mouth. "Anyways I have 2 gifts for you guys today. 1 is a piece of information, while the other involves Star here. The news is that I have another best friend! Yay!" I raised my hands in the air and gave an enthusiastic squeal. "You shall find out who it is once I return to London. Until then... Sh!" I put my finger up in front of my lips again. "Now for the second gift... I will sing you guys a song! Since it’s Christmas... It's a Christmas song! Now here we go!"

I grabbed Star and positioned her. I started to strum her, and sang again with my entire heart and soul.
