I didn't know what to do and I accidentally hung up. I panicked because I haven't seen him since we were 12 and then I just randomly get a call from him. What am I supposed to do have a casual talk with him?
He kept calling and I just ignored him as I thought about what to do. The last time we talked we were talking about dating and trying a long distance relationship. I kept wondering what he would say and why he kept calling. I thought It might just be to say that he had moved back into town ,but why would he call and just tell me that when his mom just called my mom. Eventually he stopped calling and I thought he gave up on trying to talk to me. I looked at the clock and realized it was 4 o'clock in the morning so I decided to get ready for bed and go to sleep.
The next morning I woke up and looked at my phone. I had 12 missed calls from Connor and a good morning text from Kyle. I responded to Kyle and ignored the calls. Kyle asked if I wanted to go to the pool or something so I said yes I would be ready in 20 minuets. I text Ashley, Kate, and Paige and tell them what Kyle and I are doing. Ashley is a very perky red head with brown eyes and lots of freckles. Kate is a blonde with gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that can light up a room. Paige is a brunette with green eyes. They are my best friends that I do everything with. Plus their boyfriends are best friends with Kyle so it all works out.
As I'm getting ready I get a text from Connors number asking if he could talk to me. I respond and say that I have plans and I'm about to leave. I don't get a response so I think he has just given up so I carry on.
I go downstairs to grab something to eat and pack a lunch for the pool. As I'm about to be done eating I hear a knock at the door.
I walk to the door and expect it to be Kyle just a little early to pick me up but when I open the door I don't see Kyle standing there. I see Connor.
I say "Connor. What a lovely suprise."
"Megan I know you said you were busy but I just had to talk to you." Said Connor
"I bet you do but my boyfriend Kyle will be here any minuet so I really need you to go." I said.
"You have a boyfriend?" Connor said in a sad
kind of tone.
"Yeah. Is that a problem?" I said.
"Oh no I just thought that when I got back we could have a real relationship since we never really could." He said.
"You what?" I said really confused.
He started to say something but Kyle drove up so I told him I had to go and I ran in my house grabbed my stuff and ran out the door and got in the car with Kyle. I turn and look at Kyle and he kisses me and says "Are you ok?" I nod and we drove off leaving Connor standing on my front porch.
