Akame's POV

"Shu give it back", I said while trying to reach for the stuffed bear only to have him hold it higher and further from my reach. He turned and looked up at the stuffed animal, "Where were you tonight?", he asked in a low voice, never once looking away from the toy. "Aww did someone miss me?", I replied sarcastically, a grin slowly forming on my lips. He sighed and smirked, "Such a lewd woman you are, trying to make me jealous", he replied finally looking at me. "You're unbelievable...", I sighed out, grabbing my pajamas and walking into the bathroom. After changing and brushing my teeth, I walked back into my room and found him sitting on the edge of my bed staring at the bear in his hands. I quickly walked over and snatched it out of his hands, hugging it to my chest. He snapped his head up and stood glaring down at me, "Drop it", he commanded taking a step forward, trying to intimidate me but I didn't back down and stood my ground. "You're not the boss of me", I said glaring back; we stared each other down for a few moments before I sighed and turned away. "Shu can you leave so I ca-Wha! What are you doing!?", I shrieked as he picked me up and carried me out of my room.

"Let me go!", I growled at him while flailing around, trying to get him to let me go. "Quiet!", he hissed and pinched my side hard, "Ow! That hurt...", I muttered and rubbed the spot he had pinched. "Well, stop being so troublesome", he replied tiredly and dropped me onto a couch. I looked around and found myself in what looked to be a sitting room, the bear was pushed off of my lap and was replaced by Shu's head. "Get off of me!", I hissed while pushing him off and onto the floor, I heard him growl and in less than a second he had my hands pinned to the couch and his face was inches from my own. "Be quiet and let me sleep", he said in a dark tone, "Then go sleep in your own room and leave me alone!", I replied while trying to escape his grasp. I bit my bottom lip to stop myself from whimpering as he tightened his hold on me, "Perhaps you like being harmed by me, you're much more perverted than I thought", he said a low chuckle escaping his pale lips. "You're wrong... I can't stand you", I whispered looking into his sapphire eyes. His smirk slowly disappeared and he let my hands go and then disappeared. I cautiously let out a breath I hadn't realized I was holding in and stood up from the couch, I made my way to the bear and picked it up and quickly left the room. I made it back to my room just as the sun began to rise and crawled into bed, falling asleep instantly.  

~Time Skip~

"Oi Chichinashi, get up we have to go to school", I groggily opened my eyes and was met with Ayato's emerald green ones. "C'mon get up", he said and tossed me my uniform before leaving my room. I slowly sat up and reached for my clothes and felt a stinging pain coming from my wrist, I looked down and realized that both of my wrists had dark purple bruises around them. Thank you, Shu, I thought bitterly and began getting ready for school. Once I got dressed and brushed my teeth and hair, I made my way towards the kitchen to grab some breakfast. I walked in and and found Reiji cooking, "Hi Reiji", I said walking into the kitchen and looking for something to eat. "Hello Akame", he greeted me, "Would you care to eat breakfast with me?", he asked still cooking. "Oh, sure thanks Reiji", I said a small smile forming on my lips. "It is almost done, please grab two plates and two sets of silverware", he said and I nodded and began gathering everything. "Will the others be eating with us?", I asked turning back to him and setting the plates down, "No it will only be us", he said after serving our food and leading us towards the dining room. "Oh alright", I said taking my seat and beginning to eat, "Good grief, what on Earth happened to your wrists?", he said looking up from his food and at me. "Why don't you ask your older brother", I answered quietly and he sighed before returning back to his breakfast. "Please follow me", Reiji said after we finished our meals, he led us up the stairs and towards his room. "Here put these on", he said holding open a box that contained two white gloves. I quickly slid them on and relished in the soft material, "I'm grateful for these, but why did you give them to me?", I asked looking up at him. "I gave them to you so that they may cover those disgraceful marks my good-for-nothing brother left on you", he replied as we walked towards the front door.
