**Third P.O.V**
Erza made her way down to the guild hall. She calmly sat down at the bar, where she was greeted by Mirajane. Erza didn't say much, she was too preoccupied with wanting answers. Mira, however, knew something was going on, and decided to try and speak to Erza.
"Is something wrong, Erza?" Mira asked with a sincere look on her face.
Erza looked up in surprise, "Wha-- no. Nothing's wrong, just a lot on my mind."
Mira didn't buy it, but she didn't pester her about it, she tried to start up a conversation to keep Erza's mind at ease, "So, how did your last mission with Gildarts go?"
Erza jumped slightly, but not enough to where Mira could notice. She thought about her answer for a few seconds, and quickly stated, "We weren't able to complete it, it was too much for us."
Mira grew in disbelief, but she decided not to bother her anymore.
Erza sat at the part of the bar for a couple of minutes before being greeted by her wonderful teammates. Natsu was the first one to greet her, considering she went on a mission with Gildarts after all. She knew he'd be the first one up to ask about her mission.
"Erza!" Natsu shouted with joy while running at Erza.
In a quick response, Erza quickly punched Natsu square in the jaw, which was more or less expected from everyone else. She didn't really speak much, only thought.
"Owwww!" Natsu quickly regained himself and spoke out, "What was that for?!"
"Shut up." Erza protested, clearly stating she didn't want to speak.
The room went still with those two words coming out of Erza's mouth. The way she said it wasn't like how she normally would say it, her words were full of fear and wonder, but still anger could be seen within them.
Gray, Happy, and Lucy, all stood by Natsu, not wanting to get any closer to Erza. They were all scared of her at the moment, but Natsu kept bugging her.
"Come on, Erza! I just wanted to know how your mission with Gildarts went. I bet it was so cool!" Natsu shouted with determination.
She looked down at her drink somberly. She didn't want to say anything about it, she was already having thoughts about the girl they brought back.
However, she gave out a sigh, "If you must know..." She struggled to say, "We..." She was filled with fear and sadness at the same time. Her words were hard to put together, especially with everyone waiting on what she had to say.
Erza regained herself and finally let out, "We did not complete our mission."
Everyone gasped at what they just heard, except for Mira, who suspects otherwise.
Everyone turned heads at each other, "Did she just say that? Two S-Class wizards didn't complete their mission?" Almost everyone in the guild thought.
"What kind of mission could it have been if even those two couldn't complete it?" Lucy asked to herself.
Erza heard Lucy under her breath, and quickly protested, "Does it matter? It was rather complicated, and we couldn't complete it. So will everyone just SHUT UP ABOUT IT!?"
It was shocking to hear Erza's tone of voice how it was. She's never been like this before. With that last comment though, no one said anything else about it, except for Gray.
Gray's eyes widened as he stared Erza down, he walked towards her in a calm manner, and calmly said, "Why was Gildarts caring some chick behind his back? Was that part of your mission?"
