**Vail P.O.V.**

Lucy took me out of the guild hall to take me to her home. However, not to my surprise, Natsu, Happy, Gray, and Erza followed along. I knew Natsu would come along, but I didn't think twice about Gray and Erza. It didn't surprise me, though. I know they don't trust me. I don't blame them. Yet, I don't care. If they don't believe I want to find my true self and want to be a better person, then that's their problem and not mine. Right now, that's all I'm focused on. What my purpose in life is. Why I'm here. I'm not exactly worried about making friends, but honestly, it'd be nice to have at least one person that likes me. I can't trust anyone just yet, not until I sort myself out. Every time I keep thinking about that I become very annoyed with myself. I guess I'm overreacting. I don't know though.

As Lucy led me to her house, walking right beside me was Natsu and Happy, walking behind us was Erza and Gray, trailing along very suspiciously. They're really starting to annoy me. I've been here for not even a day, and I already have a small hatred towards the both of them. Can they not tell that I know they can't trust me? Or are they just stupid enough that they think they can be so sneaky like that. They show their distrust way too obviously. If they really wanted to keep an eye on me, they should have faked it until they made it. Aggressiveness is the wrong way to go about.

The closer we got to Lucy's home, the more I became annoyed with the idiots walking behind us. It appeared that I was the only one to notice their presence. Well, Natsu was busy talking to Happy, and Lucy was busy just leading us to her house. I couldn't let this go on, however. I was getting extremely annoyed with them just trailing along. Probably "keeping an eye on me" is more like it.

I stopped and stood still for a couple of seconds. Natsu stopped as well, "Hey, you okay?" He asked me. Lucy turned around and noticed I had stopped, then she noticed that Gray and Erza were following us. I could tell she was bewildered about the situation.

She eyed Erza and Gray, and uttered in confusion, "Um... what are you guys doing?"

Erza spoke up, "We just wanted to come along, is that so wrong?"

"No, but you guys could have said something instead of acting so sneaky." She proclaimed.

I decided to step in and say something, "What is the problem with the both of you? I haven't even been here for a day and you two are the most annoying people I have EVER met." I couldn't hold it back anymore. It's true, I haven't even been here for a full day, yet problems are already running a muck.

The two of them just stared at me, I knew they couldn't say anything. I could feel the fear in their eyes, I could feel their fright, even if they didn't show it. I feel what they're feeling, and it's not a great feeling.

"You're both scared." I mumbled under my breath, but just enough for them to hear me.

They didn't say anything, all they could do was glare.

I laughed cynically, "Why? Why are you both so afraid?"

I didn't even mean to laugh, I just thought it was funny that they were so stupid to be acting this way.

"Can't you just give me a chance? Or think about it at least? You don't even know me, so how can you already hate me?" I pleaded. I hope they can reconsider their actions, it'd be nice to not be watched or have the feeling of being watched all the time.

They eyed me with consent this time, but I know they wouldn't give me a chance. I knew that deep down, they would never consider it.

Erza sighed deeply, "Maybe you're right, we have been acting a bit silly since you've got here."

Gray appeared to be in a state of disapproval, but he didn't say anything back, he just nodded.

Lucy ended up coming into this odd conversation, "Sooo... should we get going now?"

I wish I hadn't said anything now. Man, this just became so awkward I don't know whether to ask if they are still going to come along or just let them... come along.

As we continued walking towards Lucy's house, Erza and Gray were still walking behind us. I guess I'm okay with it now, I don't know though, I'm still pretty uncomfortable with them being behind us.

Thankfully, we finally arrived at Lucy's house. Needless to say, I was pretty excited to have a place to stay. I was finally going to start my new life, find out who I really am.

"Okay, here we are!" Lucy opened the door to her apartment, I was in complete awe whenever she opened her door.

"Wow..." I mumbled, but loud enough for everyone to hear me.

I began to look at each and every room, without her guiding me. I don't know what came over me. I was just so happy to feel like I have a... a... Um. I don't know the word, exactly. I'll think of it eventually.
