"Ugh!!" I yell out of frustration. "Vi! Can you do me a favor?" My aunt asks putting her head inside my bedroom door. I was trying to finish my journal entry for school but failed due to the fact that all I could seem to focus on was Sam and his model he was holding hands with. I didn't even see her face but with her hair and body shape it's worth a shot.
"Yeah" I say, sighing while running my hand through my long dull red hair. "You alright?" She asks concerned. "Yeah just tired." I lie smiling. "Alright... I just need you to run this to Mrs. Bishop." She says handing me a package. "Okay." I nod closing my laptop and hopping off my bed to throw on my jeans and my PINK sweatshirt, my aunt got me, in mint green.
I lock the door to my crappy car and head to the doors of the building. I walk in and tell the receptionist that I have a package for Mrs. Bishop. Rushing to the elevator, I press my hands out to stop it from closing only to be met with Muscles. "I'd rather take the stairs," I mumble running to the stairs. I hear Sam yell wait but I ignore him.
I pant walking up the final steps to Mrs. Bishops door. "Red, we need to talk." Sam says standing in the door way. "It's Violet to you, now leave you peasant!" I growl pushing him out of the way. I put my hand on the handle of the door but Sam is there to stop it from opening. "Vi! Why the hell are you mad at me!?" Sam shouts causing Mrs. Bishop to open her door. "Violet! Come in. Your aunt told me you would be coming!" She says embracing me into a hug. "She just needed me to drop off this package for you." I say setting the package into her hands. She says thank you and I politely excuse myself and rush to the elevator. "Violet wait!" Sam yells but I close the door before he can reach it to stop it from moving.
I finally get out to my car only for it not to work. "Come on!" I yell twisting my key again to try and start it, but it doesn't budge. I pound my head on the steering wheel only to be met with a light tap on my window. I look up and see the only person I didn't want to see. "What the hell do you want Sam!?" I shout opening my door. He goes to answer but closes his mouth as it starts to rain. I growl some type of sound while pulling my hair and kicking my cars tires. "Vi, get into my car before you're sick and bald." Sam says pulling me to the direction of his car
"Vi, just talk to me!" Sam says for the fifth time since my car took a crap and didn't start. I just turn my head the other way like a brat. "Fine." Sam says as he quickly does a U-turn, which I might add is illegal where we are at, and pulls the car into a random parking lot.
"I swear if this is the time when you murder me I will freak." Sam turns and looks at me with a serious look, he looked adorable. I sigh and ask "what?" Dragging out the 't'. "Why-" Sam starts but I cut him off. "Am I mad at you I know!" I shout running my hand through my hair. "Tell me God dammit!" Sam yells, slamming his hands on the steering wheel.
"Ugh! I don't know! I am mad but I don't have a reason to be! I mean we aren't dating you're not mine so why do-" I'm cut off by Sams finger on my lips, silencing me. "You saw me with her didn't you?" Sam asks quietly sighing. "What?" I say dragging it out. "Don't lie Vi." Sam states looking at me with his stunning blues. I look the other way. "Violet look at me please." I do. "She's just a girl-" "A pretty girl." I interrupt quietly but Sam heard me. He giggles while continuing. "Vi, I'm hungry." I smile and add "me too." He nods while grinning and pulls out and drives us to Taco Bell.
"Violet, why did you come here?" Sam asks, I look at him and say "I actually was supposed to go to New York, for an internship at a magazine. But my aunt needed help here so my parents shipped me off, to here, to help her." I say shrugging. He nods and then says "what is your favorite color?" I give him a weird look. "I just want to know about you." He says quietly as a crimson blush forms on his cheeks. I giggle and tell him "burgundy is my favorite color." He smiles and says "blue is mine" I take a drink of my Baja Blast and ask "what's your favorite season?" He thinks and then says "winter." I say "Autumn." He smiles.
"Why do you like such crap music?" I ask Sam as he blares Spongebobs Stripped Sweater song in the car. "How dare you!" Sam yells placing his hand on his heart. We laugh and soon arrive at my driveway. "So I will text you later?" Sam asks. I nod my head and open the door only to have Sam grab my arm. I turn and look at him. "She means nothing to me Vi." He looks at me with a serious look. I look down and nod knowing he isn't lying. "Goodbye Sam." I say pulling myself out of the car. "Goodbye." I hear Sam mumble.
