"Damn you're bad luck" Sam laughs while pulling us into my aunts beach house so were out of the rain. "It's your fault." I mumble. "What?" Sam asks. I sigh frustrated while running my hands through my hair. "You and the tension with Cody!" I shout. "You don't know him like I do!" Sam raises his voice and I'm thanking God that my aunt is at work. "You still don't have to act like you need to protect me!" I shout. "Damn you are so clueless!" Sam shouts back.
"Says the guy that their mom paid a girl to fake date him" I blurt mumbling but gasp and cover my mouth the moment the words leave my mouth. Sam pushes me against the nearest wall and holds me with a death grip onto my waist. "Watch it shortcake." He growls. "I'm sorry, that-" I start to mumble but get cut off by Sam.
"Don't you dare say you're sorry, I know damn well you don't mean it." Sam says lowly in my ear, sending shivers up my body, which Sam notices and smirks to. "I get quite a reaction from you, Red." He coos while running his hands down my sides and back up. I shiver and whisper "Sam." Trying to sound tough but fail since I sound like a two year old about to get her cookie take from the bully. He looks at me with his stunning blues and laughs lowly while brushing his lips against mine. "You talk too much, Vi." I'm about to reply something sarcastic but Sam leans in more after pulling apart and I'm at a lost for words.
The phone ringing sends us flying apart. I go to answer the phone but not before hearing Sam mumble "damn" quietly. "Hello?" I say while picking up the phone. "Hey Vi!" My aunt answers. "Hey Lacey. What do you need?" I ask looking back to see Sam looking at me I mumble 'Lacey' and he nods his head in understanding.
"I'm leaving to go to New York for a couple of days, so if you need anything you have my cell number and the little boy toy of yours can stay but no frickle frackle miss! I just want to make sure you have company, you also need to make more friends." My aunt laughs and I go into a long speech of how he is not my boy toy and I do have friends they are just in Michigan. She laughs and tells me to be careful and call if I need anything. We say our goodbyes and I sigh remembering the way things were before I took the call.
"I should probably go." Sam mumbles while running his hand through his raven hair. "Don't." I say "But-" Sam starts but I cut him off. "But nothing, stay I'll order pizza and even let you pick the movie." Sam smiles and says "you had me at pizza."
"This is my all time favorite movie." I sigh contently while watching The Breakfast Club with Sam laying across the couch with his head on my lap as I play with his hair. "Mhm, you seem like the classic movie type. You also must like Sixteen Candles then too, don't you?" Sam asks turning to look at me. I gasp jokingly. "How'd you know?" He just laughs and says 'knew it' quietly. We fall into a comfortable silence while watching Molly Ringwald show her 'talent'.
I sigh while trying to get up only to have Sam whine and grip my waist. "No." Sam drags out. "I'm thirsty!" I say while pulling his arms off of me. My phone goes off and I grab it while opening the new message without checking to see who sent it. I walk into the kitchen and read the message.Cody: hey just wanted to see if you're okay, sorry about the way I acted with Sam.
I smile but remember what Sam said about him.
Vi Rey: It's okay but yeah I'm fine thanks for checking :)
I turn around to see a frustrated Sam looking over my shoulder. "So much for a drink." He says while storming out of the house but not before slamming the door
"Oh Charlie." I sigh while wiping my eyes. The Perks of Being a Wallflower gets me every time. After Sam left in a hussy, I sat down and read, I decided it was time to text Sam since it's been two hours since he left.Red Rage: Come over when you're done pouting.
A few minutes later and I got a reply
Sam the loser: I didn't start pouting
Red Rage: *cough cough* lies
Sam the loser: Do you want me to come over or not?
Red Rage: Nah
Sam the loser: Fine, I'll just HAVE to have this chocolate chip mocha ALL to myself, even though I'm pretty sure it's someones favorite...
Red Rage: YOU WOULDN'T!
Sam the loser: Try me babe
Red Rage: :(
Red Rage: Please
Red Rage: Don't be rude
Red Rage: SAM.
Red Rage: SAM!
Sam the loser: Oh Vi! Scream louder!
Red Rage: You be nasty
Sam the loser: Girl who doesn't want coffee say what?
Sam the loser: Hurry babe your coffee is getting cold
Red Rage: On my way. You need a new nickname
Sam the loser: Princess? Nah not original enough.
I laugh and run downstairs to retrieve my coffee. I open the door to a smiling Sam. "I got it! Baby girl. Yes I like it!" Sam says while walking into the house with coffees in hand. "No, absolutely not." I say. "Too bad, baby girl. I like it." I shake my head and snatch a coffee from him while making a dash to my room with Sam trailing behind me.
