Daniel Sharman as Dan Williams

--

"Who was he? That guy, Jacen, I mean." Miranda looked eager to dig into Izzy's backstory and Izzy was so tired, she wanted to tell them. But she didn't. She shoved her stepsisters and, hesitant, new friends away and walked upstairs, a blank look on her face.

"Izzy?" Ava called after her. Her door slamming shut was Ava's reply.

"Was it something I said?" Miranda said worriedly.

"She and her boyfriend are psychos." Boothe snorted. He waved his drumsticks. "Can we hurry up, please?" Miranda frowned at him as the band filtered out, into the connected garage. She eyed upstairs where she heard ACDC muffled in the background.

Stacy put her hand on Miranda's shoulder. "She'll be fine. Come on," she motioned to the Game Room, "I wanna beat your ass in Mario Kart." Miranda smiled and followed her friends to the Game Room to kick ass at Mario Kart.

Izzy was trying desperately to block out any memories of meeting Jacen or their time together but she was failing. Epically.

-Flashback-

"What's your name?" The man next to her cell smiled, his teeth bright and white. She was cold, wrapping her arms tightly around her.

"Isabelle. Isabelle Stark." She whispered, shaking slightly. She felt his hot gaze on her her and trembled against the wall.

"Here, Belle." Isabelle, christened Belle thanks to the strange man, blinked in confusion as he shoved a soft looking blanket through the bars of their cell.

"But...what about you?" Belle whispered. He shook his head, a smile lighting up his face as she wrapped it around her tightly. "Mister?"

"I'm not cold. Not ever, Belle." He whispered back. The newfound warmth was sending her to sleep along with the adreneline rush that was breaking down slowly. "My name-" He murmured. Belle blinked, trying to keep her eyes open, "-is Jacen. Jacen Wrath."

And then there was nothing but warm darkness.

-Flashback End-

Izzy trembled, running her hand through her hair. "Stop it." She croaked to herself. But it happened again.

-Flashback-

"Where are you taking me?" Belle's frantic voice boomed through the jail, awaking Jacen. He was up and at the front of his cage, eyes glowing and hands tightened on the bars. Belle was crying, sobbing, as the guard dragged her by her hair.

"Jacen!" The other Sins could easily hear her cries to their leader. It astonished them. Wasn't it he that said that humans were nothing to him? And yet...

Moriah's dark eyes narrowed as a girl, not even 18, was yanked down the hall by her cell. The girl was tiny and incredibly beautiful with long brown hair and hazel-brown eyes. She wore a ragged blue dress, blue flats and a familiar looking black jacket. Jacen's jacket.

There was a loud roar and the entire complex shook. The guards shouted in some form of language. The girl's eyes were wide, mouth dropped as she stared down the hall. The guard released her and she crumbled onto her knees, bruised and confused.

"It's Jacen." Alistair tossed from his cell. "Fuck. He's pissed."

A smile curved on Moriah's lips as Jacen appeared, glowing and beautiful and deadly. Let it burn, she thought, let it all burn.
