The consequences of hell

"C'mon Neo it's been a week! Tell me what's going on." I say, frustrated. I'm lying on my back in my cell playing with a bouncy ball that I tricked them into bringing me. I figured out that if I sent out an anonymous order to bring things to my cell through Neo's computer, they would actually bring it, not realising it was me. I remember their reactions the first time I did it:

I hear noise outside my cell and I immediately brighten. Finally it's here! I hear confused mumbling outside my cell door so I quickly tune into the control rooms sound system so I can hear what they're saying.

"... Why did you ask us to bring you this Neo, I thought you hated nuts?" I assume a guard/delivery person says.

"What do you mean?" Neo asks. "I didn't ask you to bring me caramelised peanuts, I hate those things! Who sent out a message?!" He sounds really confused now. I decide that this should be my entrance so I quickly disable the electric wall from inside their computer system and open my cell door, revealing a shell shocked guard and the nerdy guy from the desk, who I now know is Neo, both looking petrified. I waltz out of my cell and grab the packet of peanuts from the guard.

"Ah thanks man! I missed these so much while I was away!" I say while smiling at them both, winking at Neo before strolling back into my cell, locking the door and enabling the electric wall again. I sit on my bed, eating my favourite snack casually and wait for them to freak out. I listen for noise, inside the sound system but all I get is silence so I look through the cameras instead and see both Neo and the guard standing frozen where I left them. They both have shocked looks on their faces. The guard starts to speak, but he seems to having some trouble.

"Di-did the-the robot ju-just order room se-service?!" He manages to get out. I giggle while watching their faces.

Yeah good times. Since that first time I have tricked them into bringing me 3 other items. Including a shower curtain, a fresh set of clothes and my bouncy ball. After the nuts came to my cell, the General stormed into the control room, demanding to see me. He would have killed me then and there for the panic I caused but I just reminded him of the Shift and that he needed me. He wanted proof of course so I downloaded all of my information to Neo's computer while also improving the firewalls of every computer in the compound. A 'pacifying gift' I called it. But they still panicked because even after they had someone come update the cell's defence system after my first call for 'room service', I was still able to shut down everything. They knew that I could escape any time I wanted to and when they asked me why I stayed and didn't kill them all, I just replied "This cell is my sanctuary, why would I want to leave?" They always asked for more information but that was the only answer I gave them. I wanted answers on my old friends, on Orien, on Twix, on everyone I used to know but they wouldn't tell me anything and I didn't want to test them that much by hacking into their files on people. I stuck to my cell area and ordering room service.

"Neo PLEASE I'm dying here, why hasn't anything happened yet, is Twix ok, WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" I yelled, annoyed now.

"Now, now Luna, calm down. You wouldn't want to go on a rampage would you?" Neo says teasingly over the speakers. He knows I hate it when he acts like I'm controlled by my robot side.

"You know that won't happen Neo, I just want information. I need something to happen!" I grumble, annoyed with the lack of action. This is the last thing that I expected when I returned to the human compound - to be bored. I thought that there would be a massive fuss all the time.

"They're just confused, something will happen soon and then you'll regret not taking advantage of this quiet." Neo says.

"I know, I just-" I'm cut off by the sound of a big commotion outside of the cell/control room door. I sit up and look through the control room's camera confused. They always have 2 guards outside the door to prevent me breaking out or anyone breaking in to try and kill me. 4 people have already tried. But this fuss sounds bigger, with less punching and more yelling. I only see Neo and the control desk though the camera's and he looks just as confused as I am. He stops swinging on his chair and stands up, moving cautiously towards the door. I growl in frustration when he moves out of eye sight. I open my eyes and start pacing next to the electric wall. I only manage to walk up and down it twice, the commotion getting louder with every second, before my cell door opens and the last thing I expected happens. Orien walks in.
