I frowned at the computer screen, the name Shade Acker: Private Tutor, was scrolled across the top. The hell was my mother thinking? I didn't need a private tutor, or a tutor at all for that fact. I looked back at my mother, my (E/C) eyes scanning over her formal features. Bright blond hair, and bright blue eyes, flawless skin and perfect shaped body. You would never know I was her daughter, with my dull (H/C) hair and dull (E/C) eyes. I sighed when I noted she was on the phone. Looking back at my laptop screen, I clinked the blue link and read up on this so called "Best Tutor in the U.S.A."
Getting bored with his information, I thought about every possible reason my mother would even think I need a tutor. II was passing school with flying colors, highest grades in my school. I acted in every school v.s school meeting and played three sports. I was in my last year of highschool, I was student body president and knew everyone in the school. I should be popular I know, but I only had one friend. I didn't mind, less drama. Though that's what my mothers life revolved around. I closed my laptop and turned around my chair. Snapping my fingers at my mother until she looked at me and told the person on the phone to hold on. "What do you want?" She glared
"Hate to break up your flirting hotline but why the hell do I need a tutor? I'm doing fine on my own." I glared back.
"Because. Now shut up and go get whatever school work you haven't done yet and sit in the living room. He'll be here in 5 minutes." She started talking on the phone again

I went up to my room and grabbed my bag. Homework? Was she crazy? I never had any homework because I always finished at school. I climbed down the stair and went to the living room like I was told. I only sat there for about 3 minutes before the door bell rang. My mother bursted out of the kitchen and fixed her evening gown. Probably another late night party, which is most likely why I was also getting a tutor, someone to babysit me so she could get drunk and get laid. I frowned when she opened the door and a man walked in. I gave him a once over and looked away. He could be my mothers twin brother, if his eyes had been blue instead of white. Sure he was handsome, blonde hair to the middle of his neck, white eyes, muscular but not nasty muscular. He was lean and to be honest... Really tall. My mother must have the same idea because suddenly she was all over him. I gagged a little and his eyes met mine. I raised an eyebrow and he looked away, obviously having no interest in my lame features. When he spoke, his voice was soft but it sent shivers down my spine. "Good evening, my name is Shade Acker. I'll be your daughters private tutor. I look forward to working with you." He held out his hand.
I quickly spoke up, before my mother could. "It's pointless for a formal interdiction. She'll be leaving in a few minutes anyway." He nodded.
My mother glared at me and I rolled my eyes as she grabbed her purse, and walked out the door. Shade crossed the room and sat down in front of me, his white eyes burned into mine. I frowned and looked away, why was I even still even sitting here? He cleared his throat and I looked at him. "My job is to be your tutor, I'm assuming you have work that needs to be done?"
"You can assume all you want but I don't. I'll let you know real quick I don't need you here. I'm passing each and every one of my classes with flying colors and I don't need your help. If it were possible I would tell you to pack up your learning tools and get out of my house but your being payed by the hour so your kinda stuck here until my mother returns." I sighed heavily
He crossed his legs and smiled devilishly. I raised an eyebrow at him and he leaned forward. "Lucky for you, I already know your mothers habits." He stopped and frowns. "What fails to make itself clear in my mind is why you haven't called for me like everyone else does."
I stand abruptly and glare. "Don't you ever think just because your good looking and fit that I'll ever fall for the likes of you! First may I say your a teacher and a relationship between us is officially a no go! Understand!?" He chuckles.
"Humph, you've got guts kid. I'm impressed." He pulls a box out of his pocket and pulls a cigarette out of the carton.
I watch as he lights it and blows out smoke. "Then what do you suppose we do?"
"I don't know. I'm supposed to be a student council meeting right now." He quickly stands.
"Alright, I drive you. I can watch the famous (Y/N) in action."
I roll my eyes and grab my bag, flinging it over my shoulder as I open the door and walk out. The car ride to the school was silent and I was really okay with that because I didn't need his smart ass mouth talking to me. Once we pulled up in front of the large building, I stepped out and he followed me in close behind. Once in the council room, he stood by the door but none of the girls could focus right and the guys glared at him every few seconds. I groaned and stood up. "Ladies and gentlemen , we have very important business to attend to. I will gladly let you talk to the man by the door once we have school festival planned and set up."
Everyone say down and we started to talk about the festival. Every year, our school plans a whole district get together and for the last two years it's been a success. We divided the work into three groups. Food and drinks. Decorations. And costumes. Every class would come up with a theme and try to make the schools happy. We all decided that for the theme in general would be like a comic con. Once the meeting was over I could see all the pleading eyes of the girls and boys. I pointed to the man and sighed. "This is Shade Acker, a private tutor."
"You have a tutor!" Someone gasped.
"If you'll allow me. I'm not her tutor, for her I'm more like a interviewer. I'm simply trying to make sure she does well in her classes and preforms all of her rightful duties as student body president and a member of the student council."
Everyone seemed to calm down, but I couldn't help but notice the smug look on his face. A look that said, I-hope-you-know-you-owe-me smile. I glared and sat down with my arms crossed. The rest of the meeting was spent with the girls Fangirling of the man and the boys trying to size up against him. To be honest, Shade wasn't that impressive, at least I was the only one who thought so.
