Chapter 8

SYDNEY'S POV

Im still flipping out on the inside. I mean, Ed Sheeran was just in my hotel room. And I leave. Wow, I'm really cool. At the moment me and Maddie are tanning while Niall, Louis, Zayn were in the pool. Zayn was at the shallow end though.

I just so happen to glance up when I see a familiar head of curls, followed by fiery red hair. Ed. Oh god. No. "Maddie!" I whisper yell. "Maddie!" I jab her with my elbow. "Huh? What?" She says, jumping up. "We're you asleep?"

"Yeah! Why whats the problem?" I point over to where Harry and Ed are walking towards us. "Oh shit." She says quietly. "I completely embarrassed myself in front of him!" Maddie says, hiding her face in her hands. "I did too."

"Hello ladies." Harry says, siting it the chair next to me. "Hi Haz." I say, sorta sadly. "What wrong Syd?" He asks while leaning in. I glance up at Ed and Harry catches it. "Because of Ed?" I shake my head yes. "I embarrassed myself." I say.

"Don't worry about it Sydney! Im used to it, and I've seen much worse." Ed says, leaning over to touch my arm. "Im sure!" I say laughing. Ed and Harry both join in. Meanwhile Maddie is trying to avoid Harry and Ed's look. Niall must of seen her because he jumps out of the pool and comes over and hugs her. "Niall! You got me all wet!" She yells. "That's what she said." Niall snickers. Maddie smacks him on the arm. "Ouch! What was that for?!"

Niall says grabbing his arm.

"You know exactly what that was for!" She responds. Harry, Ed, and I all bust up laughing. "What?" Maddie and Niall say at the same time.

"You...two act...like a...married couple!" I say, in between laughs. "Shut up!" Maddie yells.

The laughing dies down, and I say "We really sorry for our weird behavior Ed. We can't help it." Maddie nods in agreement. "Yeah." Mad says softly, looking down again. "It's fine, trust me." He says, looking strait at Maddie. She lifts her head and her and Ed make eye contact. After a moment, Maddie and Ed both drop their heads, blushing. Harry, Niall, and I notice this. Especially Niall. His eyes were full of jealously. Uh-oh. I look to Harry and raise my eyebrows. He does the same.

"So," I say breaking the silence, "who wants to swim?" "Me!" Harry yells, then grabs me bridal style and jumps into the pool. When we surface, I yell "Harry!" And smack him on the chest. "Sorry, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to mess with you!" He defends himself. I turn away from him and cross my arms. It was kinda hard considering he was still holding me. "Are you mad Sydney?"

"Yes." I say, fake pouting.

"What can I do to make it up to you?"

""Say you love me and that I'm your favorite band member!"

"I love you, your my favorite band member. Better?"

"Better." I say, satisfied.

"Good." He says, then starts tickling me. "H-harry! Stop!!" I scream, laughing uncontrollably. "Say I love you too, Hazza Bear!"

"I LOVE YOU TOO HAZZA BEAR!" I scream, wanting him to stop. "Now, was that so hard?" He asks, finally stoping. That's when I realize how close we were. I look up into his eyes, and start leaning in. So does he. "No" I say softly, my lips brushing his. Then we kiss. His lips were soft, but yet rough, and moved in sync with mine. It was perfect. Until Louis decides to yell "Get some Harry!" And I realize where we were. In a pool, outside, where paps could be hiding anywhere.

MADDIE'S POV:

Wow. Ed really has some nice eyes, and smile, and hair. 'But Niall' I think. Why am I worrying about Niall? He doesn't like me! And it's not like we're in a relationship or anything. I don't need to think about him first. Anyway, Ed, Niall, Zayn, and I were in the middle of a lovely conversation. Louis had went inside to grab towels. That's when I hear Sydney say "I LOVE YOU TOO HAZZA BEAR!" I look over to see what was going on, and they were kissing! My jaw dropped. I did not see that coming!

ED'S POV:

I wish Harry would have introduced me to Sydney and Maddie sooner. Maddie sure is something. She's funny, beautiful, and just...wow. "I LOVE YOU TOO HAZZA BEAR!" Sydney screams, and I'm torn away from my thoughts. I look over, and Harry and Sydney are full on snogging. That doesn't surprise me. I could tell they liked each other by the way they looked at each other.

NIALLS POV:

I am not jealous of Ed. I am not jealous of Ed. Im jealous of Ed. I want Maddie to be mine. But then he shows up with all his gingerness and-"I LOVE YOU TOO HAZZA BEAR!" Sydney screams, sorta scaring me. I don't pay much attention to the scream, until I notice Maddie gawking. I look, and sure enough, their kissing. 'Eh.' I think, and go back to my thoughts.

ZAYNS POV:

"I LOVE YOU TOO HAZZA BEAR!" Sydney screams. I look over, and I see her and Harry getting closer. And sure enough, they kiss. Not surprising. Harry had told me about his feelings for her awhile back, and I totally saw this coming. Wow I sounded like a teenage girl.

LOUIS'S POV:

I shouldn't be surprised, well I'm not really. Just jealous. 'No. You have Eleanor!' My brain says. Yeah, Eleanor. I should be happy for Haz. He finally got the girl. "Get some Harry!" I yell, thinking of Eleanor.

HARRY'S POV:

Did I just really kiss her? Now what? "I-im sorry." I say, flustered. "It ok, I didn't mind." Sydney says, letting out a breathy laugh. I wonder if the paps saw anything. At this point I really don't care. I just want to be with her, but I don't know when to ask her if she feels the same.

"We'll, I'm ready to go back to the room. Are you guys?" Maddie asks. We all just nod, and I hear a few 'yeah's. "Lets go then." Mad says getting her stuff ready.

MADDIE'S POV:

We had all our stuff gathered and were about to leave when Niall asks if he could talk to me, alone. "You go on ahead. I say, nodding at Syd. "Ok. Harry, hurry up!" She yells behind her. I then walk over to where Niall was, and the second I get there, he pushes me up against the wall, "Niall what-" Im cut off by his lips. The kiss was..perfect. It may sound corny, but our lips just fit. When it was over, he says "I've been wanting to do that for awhile now."

"Me too." I say out of breath.

"But you like Ed."

"Who wouldn't?" I see his face drops. "But I like you more." I whisper in his ear. His face perks up, and then he asks, "Maddie, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes." And he kisses me again.
