"AH!" You here a scream so you turn around to to see Nevill on the floor with his books and a plant that's fell apart. A couple of Slytherings had tripped him up and were walking away sniggering
"Oi!" You screamed after them "aren't you going to say sorry or something Slytherin idiots!" You frowned at them
"Y/N shshsh!" Nevill whisper shouted, the group of Slytherings stopped walking and turned their heals to you.
"What was that Y/L/N?" Theodore Nott growled and walked over to you
"Oh I think you heard me" you smirked
"Y/N stop!" Neville begged, you looked over to him and smiled softly
"Back off now and we won't have any trouble" you glared at Theodore, not wanting to upset Neville
"Oh your sooooo scary" he rolled his eyes. You turned around ignoring him and you started to help Nevill. "Hey Longbottom how's mum and dad" Theodore chuckled and that sent you over the edge.
"What did you just say Nott?!" You screamed
"I was just wondering" he smirked
"That's it!" You shouted then punched him square in the jaw
"Oh my god Nott lets get out of here" his gang rushed out of there quicker than you can say Quiditch.
"Why did you do that?" Nevill asked with a sound of worry in his voice
"I'm sorry Nevill but... I don't like seeing you sad and if those Slytherings are the reason your sad then they deserve it" you smile and hand him the rest of his books "tell me if they bother you again ok Nev" you stood up and walked away smiling.
Later that day you were by the black lake walking around looking for anything interesting and it just so happens Neville was there to. He kept staring at you which you noticed but decided to ignore until 15 minutes of it.
"Can I help you? You've been staring for 15 minuets" you tern to Nevill
"I-I.... Have I?" He blushed and looked away
"Yes" you chuckled and sat next to him
"Why would you help me? Why would you care? No one does when it comes to my feelings" Nevill smiled but when you looked into his hazel green eyes you saw sorrow, he was remembering every time someone has pushed him down. He leaned in slowly putting a hand on your cheek and connected your lips together, it was slow but full of love
"Because I like you a lot" you parted from his kiss
"You do?" He asked shocked
"Why would I kiss back other wise?" You smiled
"Will you go out with me?" He asked and you just nodded in Response.
