Ash and Misty walked around, stopping the Squirtle exhibit. Misty pressed her face to the glass and smiled looking at them swimming around the tank.

"Careful you don't want to scare them off." Ash joked.

Misty pulled off the glass, crossing her arms. "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked a little offended.

"Nothing, I didn't mean it. Please don't hit me." He begged her, hoping and praying she wouldn't hit him again.

"You sure? Cause to me you were saying that I was scary looking." Misty narrowed her eyes at Ash, who was sweating like crazy.

"Come on I just joking, don't take it so literal Mist." Ash said pulling his shirt to and from himself in an attempt to get some air, from the amount of sweat that he was making out of pure fear of Misty's wrath. He's seen one too many times to experience it again.

"It'd better be for your sake."

Man, why'd I say that? I'm the biggest idiot ever, joking about her being ugly when she's the most beautiful person ever. Ash thought, as he sighed. Grabbing Misty's hand, pulling her closer to him and hugging her.

"I'm sorry." He whispered in her ear, "you I'm still new to this whole boyfriend thing and I didn't expect it to be this hard."

"Hey I know you were joking, come on am I really that scary to you now then when we where traveling back in Kanto and Johto?" She questioned him, resting her head on his shoulder.

"No I think you've grown up a little and became somewhat of a lady, but don't get me wrong you're still the same girl I fell in love with back then." He said, not noticing the last part he said.

"What what?" Misty lifted her head up from where she was resting it and pushed him back to get a good look at his face.

Ash stayed quiet turning a bright red, quickly looking down. He face was covered by the shadow of his hat. "I said nothing." He choked, noticing what he said to her, admitting his feeling to her back then.

"You said you fell in love with me back then?" Misty said confused, but continued, "hey, I know how you feel as well. I fell in love with my best friend, how stupid is that?" She said lifting his head so she could see his face.

"Yeah, not that I'd admit back then but I also fell in love with my best friend. Guess we're both stupid." He laughed.

"Yeah guess we are." She joining with the laugher.

Clemont, Serena and Bonnie were walking around looking at the water-type pokémon. Bonnie was walking a little faster than Clemont and Serena who were taking their time viewing the pokémon as they passed and stopped viewing the Totodile show that was happening, it was mostly the trainers trying to get the Totodile's to do something other than dance or run around the stage area trying to catch them, only to fail every single time they got cornered. The whole audience laughed at every attempt the trainers made to catch the Totodiles.

Clemont grabbed Bonnie before she could run off to another exhibit, they all sat at three vacant seats to watch the show.

"Hey why do I have to watch this? It's boring." Bonnie cried.

Clemont didn't say anything, he only glared at her angrily. Which made her quickly look at the show pouting while crossing her arms.

"Now, now you two, people art staring at us." Serena said pushing the pair away from each other and sat in between them madding Clemont move to the seat Serena was sitting in before she interrupted them.

"Hey Clemont?" Serena asks awkwardly, trying to break the tension between the siblings.

"Yeah?" Clemont says taking his eyes off his younger sister.

"What do you think of me?" She says looking down, hoping he'd give her an answer she'd happy with.

"Umm, well from what I've seen is that you're determined, amazing and a rookie." He told her, while pushing his glasses up.

Serena swore she saw Clemont blushing a little when he was describing what he thought of her. "Aww thank y-wait what do you mean by rookie?" She said a little heartbroken at the last part.

"It's not what you think, what I mean is that you can learn from your experiences of being a first time trainer." He quickly said trying to avoid getting hit by Serena.

"Well that makes, so if I learn a little more I wouldn't be a rookie anymore?"

"Exactly." He clicked his fingers, smiling at her.

"Well then I'd better start training hard." She said standing up from her sit all pumped up.

Bonnie looked at the pair confused, not knowing what's going on between them as her attention was on the show she didn't want watch. "What are you guys talking about." Bonnie looked up to look at the happy dancing Serena.

"Nothing." Serena stopped what she was doing and quickly sat back down, blushing a little.

Clemont on the other hand was silently laughing to himself.

I know this is well beyond over due, but here it is the newest part to Old Friends, New Places. Although I haven't been doing much I just did know what to write (as usual).

Also I'd like to say the last chapter is close to done, but the chapter that's supposed to be after this however is not even written *awkward laughing*.
