Just A Hat?!

Misty's eyes shot open, after hearing a knock on the door. "Misty, Ash, you guys awake?" A muffed voice asked, it sounded like a female. Misty was about to get up and open the door, when she felt an arm around her, she looked up to see a still sleeping Ash hugging her.

Misty blushed, but grabbed a pillow and started whacking Ash with it."Baka! (Idiot!)" she yelled as she continued to hit him until he woke up.

"Geez, Mist. What are you so loud? It's still early." Ash sleepily says, as he rubs him eyes while the other is stopping Misty from hitting him.

"Don't tell me to be quiet, when you're just as loud as me." She snapped, still hitting him with the pillow.

"Hey, I'm not the one calling people an idiot and hitting them with freakin' pillow." He says grabbing the pillow her and throwing it on his empty bed.

"Well...you-" she was cut off by Ash kissing her on the lips, shocking her.

"Still the same old Misty." He said, as she pushed him away from her.

"Sh-shut up!" She said turning red, while Ash just laughed.

"Guys?" The voice behind the door asked, concerned.

"Y-yeah." They both said, getting out of the bed.

"Seriously we gotta go now, it's already 11:30 guys. What did you two do last night?" Asked another voice said, this one sounded male.

"Wait what?!" Misty said looking at the clock on the bedside table and noticing the time. "We, we slept in?!"

"What did I just say about being loud in the morning?" Ash yawned scratching his hair, still sleepy.

"You're not the boss of me, I can be as loud as I want!" She said, grabbing a fresh set of clothes from her bag and running into the bathroom, leaving a dumbfounded Ash.

He snapped back to reality and walked to open the door. When he opened the door it revealed his friends all ready to go to next town.

"Why aren't you ready?" Clemont asked pushing his glasses up, like he normally does.

"Yeah, what did you two been do the last night? Serena repeated Clemont's question from earlier.

"Nothing." Ash reassured them, quickly closing the door to get ready. He knock on the bathroom door, hoping Misty was close to finishing her shower. "Mist are you done yet?" He asked, only to be shooed from the door, making him sigh.

Five minutes pasted as he waited for Misty to come out of the bathroom, Ash looked around the room to see Misty's stuff scattered around the floor, he decided to clean her stuff so they wouldn't take long fixing all her things. As he was about to put her clothes away, something dropped out of the pile of clothes he was putting neatly in her bag. "Huh." He exclaimed as he went to pick it up.

Just then the bathroom door slammed open, scaring Ash as he jumped from his place hiding the object he picked up behind his back. "You scared me Mist." He said as he went to grab his clothes from the bed and ran quickly to the bathroom locking the door.

"Sorry." Misty called as he ran pasted her and pushed her out of the bathroom. She then noticed all her things were back in her bag. "Oh Ash, thank you." She smiled to herself, blushing.

Three minutes pasted and Ash was already out wearing his usual outfit since he got to Kalos, but the only difference was that he was now wearing his very first hat when he first started his journey. "W-where did you get that Ash?" Misty asked as she saw him wearing the hat that she kept in her bag.

"I found it, while I was cleaning your mess." He told her.

"You went through my stuff?!" She said angrily at him, her hand clinched into a fist.

"You're welcome, I was only cleaning you things so we won't be late due to you cleaning it up and besides this is my hat after all." He scoffed, crossing his arms.

"But you gave it to me, remember?" She said, rolling her eyes.

They both glared at each other as they left the room and continued to do so as they walked down the stairs to meet up with their friends. Who were all sitting in the lobby, bored, everyone expect Bonnie who was playing with Dedenne. They all looked up when they heard two people bickering coming to towards them.

"It's my hat, I can wear it whenever I want." They heard Ash say as he was still glaring at Misty.

"Well you gave it to me before you left!" Misty yelled at him, a vain popped on her forehead showing out angry she was.

"Guys what is this about?" Serena walked up to them pushing them apart from each other.

"He went through my belongings and took something." Misty scoffed, crossing her arms together looking annoyed.

"Well I wouldn't have to if you cleaned up your own mess." Ash yelled at her.

"Well, didn't your mother teach not to go through others things without their permission?!" She yelled back at him.

"Didn't anyone teach you to clean your own mess?!" He yelled at her again.

"Guys! Would you stop bickering? You're causing a scene." Serena called, starting to get squished by them.

"What is this all about exactly?" Clemont asked, walking up to them and grabbing Serena before could be swallowed up by them, as they banged heads and pushed the other as they glared angrily at each other.

"A hat." They both said, not taking their eyes off each other.

"Pi." Pikachu sighed as both he and Azurill finally caught up to their owners, wearing Ash's other hat.

"Azu." Azurill also sighed.

"Wait this is all about a hat?" Serena said catching her breath, after getting pulled out.

"Really? You guys are fifteen years old and are bickering like two-year olds." Clemont said.

"So what? He took it from my bag and is wearing it like its his." Misty said.

"Well it is mine." Ash scoffed.

"Guys its just a Hat guys." Serena stepped in.

"Just a, just a hat? That hat was Ash's most prized possession. Yeah sure he got a lot of other hats that his mum made him, this hat right here is his first ever hat that he received when he started his journey and it's been through a lot." Misty snapped at Serena.

"Hey calm down Misty. Here, how bout you wear it and I'll wear this one." Ash said taking off his old hat and placing it on Misty's head, while he grabbed his new one from Pikachu.

"No, you wear it. After all it is your hat." Misty said as the hat was placed on her head.

"Nah, I did give to you didn't I? So it's yours." Ash says giving her a hug, as a way of apologising to her.

A/N: haha I've always wanted to write the word baka for some reason, I just like the way it sounds. Don't get me wrong I know it means idiot but it's just fun to say, I know I'm weird. But hey three chapter updates for you guys :D.

The reason the chapters are being updated is because of my lack in internet at home, meaning I don't really have any. So I'm either writing this or reading the stories I have saved on here and listening to music at the same time (usually it's Love Like Woe on repeat or my music on shuffle, it really depends on how I'm feeling. So yeah that's basically my life at the moment.
