Chapter Four

***Friday, September 18***7:50pm***

oug Shan

My game was going amazing. I with two other people scored three goals in the first period. But I guess that fun was short lived.

I'm in the second period and the Wolves number 14 is all up on me.I had the puck on their side of the ice trying to find an open shot or pass. But instead I met the wall really hard thanks to three of the Wolves.

"Tough guy, by the end of this you'll never play another game in you pathetic life," Number 14 said into my ear. The guys around him laughed as they got off of me but 14 didn't.

"Let's fight then we can tell who is better!" I yelled. Almost at the same time our gloves come off and we were in a huge fight. The referees skated over trying to get us to stop but we wouldn't.

After couple of seconds the two people who helped hold me to the wall came over to the refs demise, and they helped 14. The refs tried to make them to stop, but they ignored them.

Up to that point I has doing well but as soon as the other two came I knew I was a goner. And at this point my other teammates on the ice was in their own fights so the refs were split up. If those other fights wouldn't happen then I know the refs would have been able to split this up.

One of the other players start to rip off my pads. The refs continue to try to get these guys off of me but nothing is working. When they finally got the pads plus my helmet on grabbed my arm. I know what they are trying to do, break my arm.

I looked over to couple of my team members off of the bench was coming over to try to help. Michael was in the lead with Conner next to him rush over but the refs managed to stop them from stopping.

The end of the fight ended with my getting slammed in the wall hard. I blacked out for couple of seconds, but then I quickly got up, but I had a bad limp, with the help of the refs and head for the bench.

"Valen, locker room, NOW!" Coach yelled at me.

I was confused why he would make me to go to the locker room. "Nothing is wrong, Coach! I'm fine!"

"Go, NOW!"

I carefully skated to the locker room much to my own hatred. I didn't want to sit out the rest of the game. But I guess I have to now.

The trainer stopped me right when I entered the locker room. "Shan, lay down right there."

My adrenaline start to fall and my head started to pound and my right arm, ribs, and left thigh were extremely painful. I couldn't move my right hand. I know that something is wrong but I won't admit it.

"Shan, what is hurting? You better be honest with me, cause I know that you are!"

"My head and I can't move my right hand."

"What else?"

"Ribs," I cried out since I was in so much pain now.

"Hold on, I'm going to page the EMTs, okay?"

I didn't say anything. I must have blacked out because the next reality I was in an ambulance.

I didn't look at anybody or hear either. I just fell back asleep.

***TIME SKIP***9:30pm***

When I woke I couldn't move my head. I could only look up at on spot. 'What is going on! Why can't I move my head?' I think.

"Shan, you are in a neck brace so you won't be able to move your head. How are you feeling?" The nurse asked as she walked next to my bed.

"Okay I guess, how I'm looking nurse?"
