a few months later...
"Damn it! The sun's shining!" sabi ko nang magising dahil sa sinag ng araw. I have so many things to do today! I immediately searched for my clothes while muttering strings of profanities. "Where's my damned underwear? Hoy Atay, gumising ka nga."
"Will you please stop panicking!" he grumbled, pushing his head into the pillow.
"How can I not panic?! May lunch kami ngayon ni Dad then may pictorial pa, and I'm gonna be late! It's freaking 10 in the morning!" sabi ko habang nagbibihis.
"It's your fault," sabi niya.
"What's my fault? Hey, the last time we did it, you were a very willing participant. If my memory serves me right, I think you initiated most of the time!" sabi ko sa kanya. I sighed when I see him standing up. I can't find my keys! I was about to turn his condo unit upside down when I saw my keys dangle from his hand.
"Looking for these?" tanong niya.
"Give 'em back," sabi ko sabay lahad ng kamay ko right under his nose.
"Reach."
"You're fucking six-and-a-half feet tall! How am I supposed to reach that?" Binigyan niya lang ako ng ngiti.
Damn it. He wants to play? Hm, okay. I gave him a smile, a smile that would let him know I'm up to something.. bad.
I licked my lips and touched his chest, making my fingers walk down. His expression immediately changes.
"Okay, okay! Ito na," sabi niya sabay abot sa akin ng mga susi ko. "Damn woman. Pasalamat ka at may shoot ako mamaya," dagdag pa niya.
"Is it okay for you to go there sexually frustrated? I mean, how are you going to deal with that?" I said, eyeing his bulge. I gave him that smile again.
"Damn woman," sabi niya at bumulong ng ilang mura habang hinihila ako papasok ng banyo.
"Hija, where were you last night? I called, but nobody answered," tanong ni Dad habang kumakain kami ng lunch. We always do this at least twice a week, and this is the second one.
"Oh, I was at a friend's house. Slept over there," sabi ko. I wanted to laugh. Huh, friends.
Normal friends don't do what we do. Well, I guess normalcy is just not our thing.
"How's Adrian, by the way? Hindi mo ba siya kasama kagabi?"
A month ago, Dad introduced me to Adrian Dy. Ka-edad ko siya pero he's this big time business tycoon. Gustong-gusto naman siya ni Dad kaya naman he suggested that we should marry for the sake of each other's businesses. Pumayag naman ang Dad ni Adrian, and even Adrian himself. Mukhang wala namang oras para sa pag-ibig ang lalaking iyon. And, since I don't also have time to love anyone, edi pumayag na rin ako. Hindi naman ako nakatali kahit kanino, at mas mabuti na ring secure ang mapupuntahan ko.
