"This is all too loud," Robin whispered as we walked into the club. After-party ng isang magazine fashion show, and we were invited to come.
"I know. Dapat restaurant na lang ang sinet nila for this. Too many people are getting drunk, kaya dito nagsisimula ang mga chismis eh," I told her. She nodded.
"Let's just stay here for an hour, then let's go na. I'm not in the mood for partying right now," my sister said.
"Aba, that's a miracle! I thought you lived for partying," I told her. We both chuckled at lumapit na sa table kung saan merong kaming kakilala.
"Ah, the legendary Luzano sisters!" sabi ni Jackson at tinaas ang shot glass na hawak niya tapos ay ininom niya iyon.
"Are you already drunk, Jax?" tanong ni Robin sa kanya at umupo sa tabi niya. Ako naman ay umupo sa tabi ni Elise, isa pang model na kaibigan namin.
"God, some of these people are wild," bulong ni Eli. Tumango naman ako at kumuha ng champagne na nasa mesa. I sipped from the glass habang pinagmamasdan ang dance floor. May mga iilan sa models ang sobrang lasing na at kung anu-ano na ang ginagawa sa baba. Mayroon na ring nagbobody shots sa gilid. Buti na lang at walang media rito.
"Well, they can't act like this everyday so sinusulit na nila ang oras na ito," sabi ko at parehas kaming tumawa. Nagpatuloy pa siya sa pagkwento tungkol sa online shop na sinisimulan niya.
"What's up, my bitches?" The shrill voice of Alfred's voice filled my ears as he danced towards our table. May dala siyang wine glass sa isang kamay habang isa naman ay nakataas habang sumasayaw siya sa tugtog. Humiyaw pa siya ng isang beses. Oh man, this gay's drunk.
"Hey, Alfred!" I said then patted the space beside me para maka-upo siya. Umupo naman siya at niyakap ako para batiin.
"Hey there, Darcy! Did you check the dance floor already? Lots of hot guys out there!" he said tapos ay kumuha pa ng isang shot mula sa mesa namin.
"Hey, stop hogging my shots, Alfred!" sigaw ni Jax. Alfred just gave him the middle finger and we all laughed.
After too many drinks, I can feel my body heating up. I need to dance this out. Ang sabi naming isang oras lang dapat ay medyo napatagal. We thought our friends wouldn't be here kaya naman inisip namin na magiging boring ang party.
"Robin! I'm going to the dance floor!" I told my sister. She gave me a thumbs up and continued talking with our other friends. Alfred took my hand and pulled me towards the dance floor.
"What's up with your life?" Alfred asked me as we grooved to the EDM played by the DJ. I looked at him and he smiled at me. I think I may have kissed me once?
"Nothing. The usual," I told him.
"So, you're looking to let off some steam tonight?" he asked. I smiled at him. It's not a surprise that he asked me that. Alfred has been my wingman for so long. Whenever I wanted to look for someone to have sex with, Alfred always helped me in scouting the one. He always told me who to look out for.
