The shoot was normal for us. In fairness, maayos naman palang kasama itong si Oliver.. or is it because we are already comfortable with each other? Mukha ngang mas marami pang wacky poses ang ginawa namin kesa sa matino. And the photos are just heaven! Si Mark Alonzo kasi ang photographer namin, and kilala siya as one of the best photographers sa bansa.
"Come on, billboards are so done with the fierce looks! Can't we show them that this gown is comfortable enough na kaya mong mag-wacky? I mean, isn't that what brides do on their wedding day?" tanong ko sa kanila. Mukha kasing nahihirapan sila sa pagpili ng kung anong gagamitin para sa billboard.
"That's good for the catalog, Darcy. But, we need something classy for the billboard. We need to show people na you're your best on your wedding day," sabi ni Sir Ben then laughed. I sighed then thought of my wedding day, kahit na wala pa namang date na itinakda.
I know I'm gonna look my best on my wedding day. I just don't know if I'm at my best by then. What are you even thinking about, Darcy! Of course, you're at your best! You're always at your best.
Naka-ilang poses pa kami bago ni-wrap up ang shoot. Habang chinicheck namin ang mga kuha, lumapit ulit si Sir Ben sa amin na may hawak na purple and black invitations. Biglang bumaling ang tingin ng ilan pang models na kasama namin, bakas sa mga mata nila ang inggit at hinayang.
Are you fucking kidding me? These are the invites para sa party sa bahay niya! Iilan lang ang iniinvite niya every year, and most are really prominent personalities. I've only been invited once and that was last year. I can't believe he's going to invite me again!
"I'm inviting you to my house party. Details are inside. Kayo pa lang ang iniinvite ko," sabi niya sa amin. I hugged him.
"This is a great honor, Sir! Can I post about this?" tanong ko. Baka kasi surprise pala dapat and I don't want to spoil it.
"Of course! I would like it if you did. Make the others nervous," he joked pero pakiramdam ko eh hindi talaga siya nagbibiro. His party is really one of the highlights every year, and if you're not invited, ibig sabihin noon you're not good enough. Sir Ben takes showbiz seriously and he's always looking for talents.
Pagkatapos naming mag-usap, nagpaalam na si Sir Ben at bumalik na sa opisina niya. Naiwan naman kami ni Oliver habang hawak ang mga invitations namin.
"Wanna post a photo of us?" tanong niya sa akin.
"Is it really okay? I mean, baka ibash ako ng mga fans mo," sabi ko. It would be the first time na magpopost kami ng photo naming dalawa.
"Have it their way. It's not like they'll know everything from just one photo," aniya sabay ngisi. Tiningnan ko siya nang masama dahil baka may makarinig sa kanya. Hindi talaga marunong mag-timing ang lalaking ito!
"Okay then. Cece!" tawag ko. Our faces won't fit with the invitations kung selfie ang gagawin namin. "Can you take our photo please?" pakiusap ko. Kinuha naman ni Cece ang phone ko at inabot din ni Oliver ang kanya.
"How do we do this?" tanong ko sa kanya.
