Shayne's heart couldn't seem to calm down. The animatronic had left the sacred, hidden, back room that was seemingly locked."It's nothing to worry about," he-it!- had said. Shayne couldn't find any reason not to worry.

"Wha..." Shayne began to feel dizzy. She had a weak heart, and fainted often.

"No, no," WyldCard said."Really, calm down." The smoke pouring from his eyes ceased, and the color of his eyeballs changed to a normal white color with friendly pink pupils.

"How-" Shayne, wanting to find reason and a logical explanation for her current situation, failed to figure out what to say. WyldCard helped her by saying, "You're new. But I can't help but notice how familiar you look..."

Shayne gulped."Really? I can't find any memories of you in my mind..."

WyldCard laughed and removed his bare, metal, hands off of the frightened night guard. "Why do you speak as if you're some kind of computer?" His laughter sounded strangely human. His voice, as Shayne noticed, had turned more human after his eyes changed.

Curious, and slightly annoyed, Shayne replied, "Why are you talking like you're some kind of person?" She wasn't that great at comebacks.

WyldCard looked equally annoyed. "You don't know what happened to me, do you?"

Shayne shook her head. WyldCard took a step back, away from Shayne. His face grew sad as he looked away, towards the door from which he came from. He seemed to lean towards it in longing.

"Another time," he said. He left Shayne as he moved towards the door. Shayne stopped him by calling his name.

"WyldCard,"she said. There was uncertainty in her voice. "What happened?"

The animatronic turned around and glanced at her with a smirk."Like I said," he stated, "another time." He gestured to an object behind Shayne before entering the dark door, closing it and locking it with a subtle click.

Turning around, Shayne found a clock that read 3:00 a.m.

How did the time fly so fast? Shayne thought. She got the theory that maybe she did pass out. All she knew was that the typical night shift time in her state ended at six a.m. Shayne headed for the security office, planning to remain in there and either contemplate what WyldCard had said, or forget about it and tell herself she just dreamed it all up.

"No," she told herself out loud. "I'll find out what happened."

And with that, Shayne locked herself inside the office, safe from the things outside and her wild imagination...

 ...for now.
