Ah, for some reason, I've been listening to the song " Like I'm gonna lose you,'  by Megan Trainor and John Legend nonstop. Anyways, On with the story!

"Chlaus!" I cried out and jumped into the mans arms. He laughed and spun me around before setting me back onto the ground.

"Why, the last time I saw you was a year ago, wasn't it?" He asked, still chuckling. I smiled happily.

"How do you know Cana, Chlaus?" Ciel asked. Chlaus grinned and scratched the back of his neck.

"That's classified information," Chlaus laughed. Ciel stared at him uncertainly, but then beckoned for Cana and Chlaus to follow him.

"Let's go to the dining hall," Ciel said.

"Donburi?" Chlaus asked in disbelief. I watched, stifling my laughter as Sebastian proceeded to give a detailed speech on Donburi full of gusto. Chlaus's disbelieving look soon disappeared and he began to laugh once more.

"Ah, Ciel, you never cease to surprise me!" Chlaus grins. "So, Cana," Chlaus wipes his hands on  a handkerchief. "How did you come to live at the young earl's place?" My smile immediately faltered.

"A-Ah, well..." My voice faded as the memories with Carnell resurfaced.

"She's here to help me for work," Ciel answered for me. I raised my head.

"Yep," I add cheerfully, hiding the tears that had surfaced earlier. Chlaus 'ahhed' and nodded.

"Well, that aside, Ciel, I have brought the 'games' you asked for. They hadn't been released in Italy yet, so they were actually quite hard to get." Chlaus said. I watched him carefully.

"Games?" I asked. Chlaus and Ciel looked over at me. Ciel was the first to speak.

"Yes. Games. After all, children are quite greedy when it comes to games, aren't they?" Ciel asked. I smiled and nodded.

"Point taken." I replied, still not quite believing his answer.

"Ah, yes, I will continue to bring you games, Ciel," Chlaus added.  Ciel smiled emotionlessly and continued to eat.

"Well, Chlaus, it was wonderful seeing you," Ciel said, bowing down to his relative. Chlaus laughed, his deep voice echoing through the manor.

"Ah, same here. It was wonderful seeing you as well, Cana. I hope to see you soon," Chlaus said. I smiled and ran towards him.

"I hope you come again, Uncle Chlaus!" I said, my voice muffled by his suit. Chlaus returned my hug and laughed again. Ciel eyed the two cautiously.

"Uncle?" He mumbled. "When did Chlaus become your uncle, and not mine?" I turned to look at him and stuck out my tongue.

"Stop whining, Phantomhive," I taunted. Ciel puffs his cheeks out and turns away. Chlaus smiled and waved once again to Ciel before bidding farewell and leaving in his carriage. Ciel turns away and and walks towards the staircase.

"I'll be retiring now, you should rest soon as well," Ciel said. I watched his retreating figure before sighing and turning to look out at the night sky. 'Carnell's really gone, huh?' I thought. I sigh heavily and began walking towards my room. 'Things don't seem too bad here,' My ankle suddenly throbbed and I winced before taking off my shoes and examining the feet. A small blister was forming on my heel. 'Darn,' I thought. 'That'll last for a while. This is why I hate formal events,' I sigh once more and continue on to my room.

'I'll be able to manage,'
