I woke up to looking at my white ceiling blankly. I never had any feelings in the morning, I kind of just felt dead, well I felt that way ever since I left Anchorage, Alaska. I mean, I like how it isn't as cold anymore but I felt this connection to my city, all of my friends were there, my boyfriend was there,My whole life was there. I fell like my life just was left in my old house made of brick. Now I'm in San Fransisco, California where the air is dry and you are lifeless, in my case that is. I sat up slowly and looked at my phone to see the time. It was 6:35, I was 5 minutes behind schedule but thats okay I guess. I swung my legs over my wooden twin bed ( I'm not that tall so it works out), and my long, straight red hair whipped my in the face. " Ugh", I said annoyed with myself. I put on my bunny slippers and shuffled over to my living room. I saw my little brother watching T.V. I smiled at him and I sat besides him on the ground. He likes watching television on the ground because he thinks because you are so close to the characters that it's like you're in the show or movie. "Whatcha watching?" I asked him. He said, " Vincent the Vampire killer ". Children shows now seem so queer compared to what I watched as a kid, I went along with it though. "Oh awesome! What is it about "? I said trying to start up a conversation. "Well...", He said thinking about the best way to describe the whole scenario of the show, "Vincent and his girlfriend Lucy have been parted because a group of vampires captured her because they wanted to kill her to get her rare blood type and Vincent decides to go on a long journey across Foreland or the land where Lucy was stolen to find his love and he vowed he would kill every vampire that hurts or get in the way of him and Lucy." "Man thats pretty dark", I said still thinking about how cartoons have changed, "but it sounds interesting, do you mind if I watch with you?""Not at all ". And we watched the surprisingly dark kids show until I had to get ready for my first day at my new high school. I wore a peter pan collared sweater that was mint green (my favorite color) and the collar was white and also I wore black leggings with black flats. I put on my glasses that are black and brown and they are honestly huge. Then I put my hair up in a messy bun and put mascara on. Then I grabbed my lunch and my backpack and ran out of my door. As I was running I yelled back to my brother, " Bye John! Have a good day at your first day of 2nd grade!" he replied not taking his eyes off the screen, " Bye Angie! You too!" I skipped over the corner and ran down the stairs of my apartment. Then I ran over to the bus stop. I stopped quickly at the sign and I watched as the school bus turned over to my street. I thought to myself, " Thank God! I just made it!" As I walked up the steps of the bus I turned to see through the window of my apartment to see my dad and my brother talking and seeing them both laughing, I smiled and then turned around to get onto the bus.
